Agreed on Storyteller over Dracula vs Buffy.
I'd say Tabula Rasa should be in there. I personally find Intervention to be hilarious.

Agreed on Storyteller over Dracula vs Buffy. I'd say Tabula Rasa should be in there. I personally find Intervention to be hilarious. You're right. Tabula Rasa is way funnier than Beer Bad. |

I think it's the funniest episode of Buffy ever. At the very least they missed Dopplegangland.

Who makes these lists? Is it just one person? 'Cause the opinion of top 5 funniest is kinda off to me. Especially the Buffy vs. Dracula choice. That doesn't belong in ANY top 5 rankings. I bet they stopped watching after Season 5 - that's the only excuse for not including Tabula Rasa and Storyteller.

Our bad.)" Well the author did admit that he never watched Buffy during it's original run and only recently started watching his wife's DVD collection. So with that I give him a pass because he wouldn't have know about the timing of American Pie vs Buffy s3. I have to say that his top five doesn't really match my list of top comedic episodes. Beer Bad & Dracula would never have made it in my top 10 list let alone my top 5. But even with that I'm still really glad that people are still disovering Buffy, recognizing it's genius and keeping the show alive in the press. |

Okay, like others have already said: "Buffy vs. Dracula"? WTF?  That episode is so lame precisely because it wasn't funny. Okay, Xander was great in it, eating the insects, and the "Where'd you get that accent--Sesame Street?" But other than that...  I'd keep "Beer Bad" and "Band Candy", throw the other three out, and replace 'em with "Tabula Rasa", "Doppelgangland", and "Triangle"... with "Storyteller", "Intervention", "Pangs", "Life Serial", and "Halloween" rounding out the top 10. (And that still leaves out awesome ones like "Superstar", "A New Man", "Something Blue", and "Selfless".) |

thats my favourite funny episode...it just perfectly summed up the feeling of when you first move in with a roommate away from home for the first time.
gives me the chuckles.
The bit with the milk where buffy drinks the whole carton is my favourite funny scene out of all 7 seasons. I love it.

I agree that Buffy vs Dracula isn't top 5 anything
I do agree that Tabula Rasa was a funny episode,however I wouldn't put it in my Top 5 Funniest due to the ending.This episode was,to me,the real beginning to the darker theme of the season
I never understood the immense dislike of Beer Bad.I thought that it was a very funny episode.
Triangle would probably have to be my top pick.The Willow and Anya interaction was great.I loved Olaf the Troll."Puny receptacle" was priceless.(I'll admit to being a fan of stupid humor from time to time). Finding out that Anya used to date him and was the one to turn him into a troll,Willow's line(is anyone really suprised by this).Even SMG's over the top crying performance gives me a good chuckle

My favorite scene in Triangle is when Olaf knocks over Buffy and she falls on Spike. The look on his face is great.

Okay well I'm pretty sure most agree that the list is off. Dracula vs. Buffy is lametastic and in no way deserve's to be in the top 5 funniest let alone the top 10. I agree with other's I think "Storyteller", "Pangs", and "Tabula Rasa" need to be on that list.

I totally agree with Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered & Beer Bad being on this list ! Band Candy is funny too but not enough for the top five to me. Buffy vs. Dracula & The Zeppo shouldn't be mentioned here I think, I'd replace them with Life Serial & Him for example !
