I would say the day I made the forum. I was like, "Wow...it's on".

I acknowledge my Buffy-specific geekiness daily. Today when I was listening to Brian Lynch's 34-minute audioblog, I had to resist the urge to transcribe it. The fact that I even thought that was a worthwhile idea concerns me...

My car tag says THEJEDI. Enough said. You win. ... or do I? As I'm a little jealous.

I wouldn't say that I am the biggest geek ever, but the moment I was able to recite the conversation of Fred and Wesley as Wes dies in Not Fade Away, was pretty geeky. I just love this scene.

I am a sci-fi guy/geek but I hide it pretty well a lot of my firends don't even know that I have all the Buffy, Angel and Firefly seasons or that I read the comics. I have managed to convert a few of my firends to Firefly so they are coming along well into being shaped for a Buffy marathon. ...(we need to get an evil laugh emitcon)

I have gotten a lot of my friends into Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Charmed, like all the supernatural, sci-fi shows.

a couple weeks ago my p.e. teacher was trying to teach the class a golf swing and he mentioned something about a "sledge hammer" and i was jumping up & down in my head thinking "troll hammer! Olaf! Buffy vs. Glory in 'The Gift'!" and then i realized what a dork i was being (even if no one could hear me) and i thought of this thread, lol.

When i created lyrics to the Buffy theme song including the actors' names. I wanna see those lyrics!!! ;D I realized I was a really big geek when in 5th grade (which means I was about 11 right?) I was in band, and decided to play the Buffy and Angel theme song on the clarinet as my end of year solo and it was hard too because there was no sheet music, so I had to write it myself! I also had my band teacher listen to the song to desypher some of the notes and registers! Then the next year I'd try my hardest to dress as buffy characters did (the start of my every changing styles). We also had to keep a journal in the class (where we had to write in it for 30 minutes a day) and it would either be an entry about buffy, a buffy drawing, or in one instant a fanfic that took up an entire spiral notebook. I was a determined little chickadee huh? Oh I also brought VHS tapes full of buffy episodes when we went out of state so if and when i had a vcr handy I could get my fix. Those things are bulky to pack! Thank jeebus for DVD's. My love did wane when I hit high school. Some personal things went down and I couldn't focus on any show let a lone my favorite. But slowly after high school I began to build my nerdy library back up: x-files (which I was equally in love with), buffy and angel, twilight zone etc. The foggy funk of a family death and high school dramaticals finally cleared and I was able to reclaim my loving geekdom!!

usually when im in a pub with a mate and we are disscussing how stupid and horrible the world can be, then all of a sudden something has popped from my lips that seems terrably wise and all-encapsulating. I sit there all pleased with myself for a few seconds then realise it wasn't a original thought at all, im just quoting joss. doh!

last week in p.e. the class watched a video on how to golf and the guy was saying to pretend there's a stake driven thru your whole body so you can't move, and i thought of Buffy driving a really long stake through the guy's body and smiled while thinking "Christ. I'm a geek."

When I made a Buffy-altar. I felt ecstatically-geeky while making it, and when I watch it.

Very recently actually! I've always known that i was a bit too obsessed with Buffy and Angel and as my partner will constantly remind me, i'm sad! But a couple of weeks ago I had my wisdom teeth out and when my mum got me home to sleep it off on the sofa, she found an episode of Buffy on the tele, without even switching it on and whilst in my very drugged up, spaced out state of sleepiness I managed to tell her which episode it was, the name, the season, the storyline etc.
She reminded me of this the other day in front of the rest of my family and boyfriend and I can't remember a thing about it! lol! I was kind of embarrassed but am still proud of myself! hehe

Hmmph, I been sitting here trying to come up with a comment but all this thinking is distracting me from my nightly Buffy episode. Oh, maybe that IS a sign of Buffy geekedness, huh?

I've recently noticed that I talk endlessly about the shows when it's brought up even though I rarely watch it now. It's pretty much completely stored knowledge nowadays. My girlfriend is impressed with my geeky ability to name any and all actors who appear on other shows when we watch them. I swear Bones has a Buffy actor appear like every other episode (not including Boreanaz of course lol)

Just recently me and my boyfriend got into a huge debate over who was the better super hero...Batman or Superman. By the end of the arguement we looked at each other and just laughed at how completely geeky that conversation was.

The first time I thought, "Christ, I'm a Geek" was after Season 3 and I bought the Sunnydale High Yearbook. The first time I KNEW I was a geek was when I began writing out my Buffy episodes inventory, organized by season, titled, and highlighted so that I knew which ones I still needed to watch out for to record on VHS.
