Least Favorite Episode From Each Season

Seriously, could some of y'all please explain what it is about "Cautionary Tale" that you dislike so much? Why it's worse than "Unleashed", "Hell Bound", "Harm's Way", "Why We Fight"... ? It's not as if it's my favorite ep of S5--I could probably name at least 10 that were better--but I still think it's a pretty good one, and it puzzles me that so many people rank it so low...

I cant believe people dislike Reptile Girl!! Or at least see it as their least favourite.

all in all I think Angels bad episodes were hell of a lot worse than buffys worse episodes.

I don't think it's a bad episode, but compared to every other episode, it's just not that exciting. I could care less about the Number 5 character, and the way his life story was told was just plain boring. The only parts of the episode I enjoy watching are the scenes between Wesley and Spike talking about the Shanshu, but that's just a couple minutes. Every other episode in Season 5 has more to love, I guess.

But it must be a whole matter of different opinions and tastes. Like you say Harm's Way is one of the worst of the season, but it's easily a top episode in Season 5 for me.

1- Easily The Puppet Show.
2- Bad Eggs.
3- Possibly Gingerbread. A tough one, though. 3 is such a great season.
4- Beer Bad. It's just so, well - bad.
5- The Body. BUT only because it's so hard for me to watch. If something like that ever happened to my mother...
6- This is my favorite season so this is really tough...probobly, Grave.
7- Probobly Touched.

Angel

1- I Will Remember You. i'm not big on the Bangel-love, for sure.
2- Disharmony. Any episode that involves Harmony betraying the gang irritates me.
3- Tomorrow.
4- Shiny Happy People
5- A Hole in The World. Just too sad...

BVS;
1. The Pack; good performance from Nic but pretty dumb ep

2. Bad Eggs; by a mile!

3. Choices; incredibly hard to choose, Buffy going great guns at this stage

4. Beer Bad; possibly the worst ever ep of Buffy saved only by Xander's "Nothing can defeat THE PENIS" line

5. Tough Love; not because it's bad, just because I don't care for it much

6. Dead Things; as above

7. The Killer in Me; really flat

1. The Ring; Some good stuff from Cordy and Wes and the introductuon of Lilah but other wise boring

2. Shroud of Rhamon; appalling, worst Angel ep ever even if we do have Angel biting Kate

3. Carpe Noctem

4. Players; although it's nice to have a Gunn centered ep

Buffy: I Robot You Jane

I found these two episodes flat and pretty boring. I hate Willow's attitude in 'IRYJ' and in 'HA' I hate the geeky scienece guy and could care less about him or his doomed "relationship" The rest are watchable, either for good fight scenes, charatcer development or humour.

I must say I like HA because of the interaction between Angel and Lorne and Wes & Co doing Agatha Christie. As for IRYJ it's early days and at least we get Jenny for the first time

My least favourite episodes of either series (although all three are Angel episodes) are "She", "Cationary Tale..." and "Why We Fight". I can't quite put my finger on why I hate them so much, but they just put me to sleep and I've only been able to sit through them twice. Buffy doesn't have any episodes that I find unwatchable, even "Bad Eggs" and "Beer Bad" have their moments. Pretty much all Buffy episodes are memorable in some way, whereas with Angel, I actually don't remember watching some of them.

I actually really enjoy some of the episodes that people have listed. What's wrong with "Gingerbread", "Living Conditions", and "Harm's Way", I really like all those episodes? I enjoy, but don't love, "Where the Wild Things Are"... I like Anya in that episode. I also adore "Doublemeat Palace", although I'm aware I'm very much in the minority with that one.

Season 1: I robot...You Jane (the weakest of the season, imo)

Season 2: Inca Mummy Girl or Some Assembly Required (and this is a stretch, I still like these eps!)

Season 3: Honestly can't think of a least fave episode for this season!

Season 4: I'll go with Harsh Light of Day, because I hate stinky Parker man! Living Conditions would be a close second though. Man was Kathy annoying!

Season 5: Again, hard to pick a least fave for this season, Though I guess I would go with, I Was Made to Love You.

Season 6: Seeing Red for sure!

Season 7: The Killer in Me (because I hate Warren), First Date runs a close second though.

Who doesnt like Hell Bound!? Thats one of the scariest and greatest episodes of Angel ever!!!

I hate "Hell Bound", but I at least have a couple of reasons why, beyonnd "I just really don't like it".

Mainly, I don't think it's scary. At all. There was not one single moment that made me jump or flinch, or gave me nightmares. And yet I get the feeling that it was really trying to be--that it wanted to be in the "Blair Witch" category of scariness. Ever have a friend who thinks they're really funny, and they're not, and every time they tell a joke you smile politely while inwardly rolling your eyes? This was like the horror-ized version of that. ("Billy" was much scarier, I thought, and even "After Life" had a higher 'creepy' factor.)

And the other reason is that the ghosts Spike was being haunted by meant nothing to him--they were W&H people he'd never met. It would've made for a much more interesting story IMO if he'd been being haunted by people he'd killed, a la Angel in "Amends". There would've been some emotional resonance to the story for him, and he would've had a chance to experience a little character growth during the course of the ep. Instead, he was pretty much the same character when the episode ended as he was when it began, and that growth didn't happen until the end of "Damage", 7 eps later...
