Also, I personally wasn't really big on the Scream movies. The first 2 were fine, but the last one wasn't all that great.

I guess long movies aren't for everyone. Personally I love that they're so long. I wish that they were longer than what they are (even longer than the extended versions which I only watch). lol, but that's just me Yeah I only have the extended editions now too, and I wouldn't mind more content if there is some more. A lot of people complain about the ending, and I admit that I thought it was too long when I first saw it. It's just a very long end, but still only about a 1/4 of the book's final chapters. I think it's absolutely neccessary.

I did previously moan that LOTR are too long, and i stand by that, but i also have the extended versions, and despite the extra hour or so, they tell so much more of the story! Espeacially ROTK. Theres some fantastic extra scenes!
I think Scream, as great as it is, is too dated. I baught the trilogy, and could barely make it threw 1. It just seemed so predictable, and boring. Still, its the original spoof. So i guess respect is due. Lol.

I also love the Scream movies. The first was my favorite and it's probably my favorite horror movie. I just loved how the whole thing was done and the first scene with Drew Barrymore is so freaking terrifying. Scream 2 was also great! A well-made sequel with a story that didn't disappoint, and of course, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Not a huge fan of Scream 3, it had its moments but the one thing I loved about it was Parker Posey.

Parker Posey in any kind of smart ass role is always just hilarious.

Scream 2 is probably my fave of the series. The action sequences were so thrilling and well choreographed, like a dance (Sid in the house, Gale in the sound room, Sid vs Debbie, etc). Fantastic action music too. And a very shocking and well done villain reveal. Laurie Metcalfe was great in the end. I totally agree. The Gale in the sound room scene was thrilling! i Remember scecretly recording scream 2 of the tv as my mum wouldnt let me watch it and when i saw that scene at a younger age i was totally like wow that was sooo cool. i LOVE courtney cox in the scream movies. shes great. Whats her face who plays Sid though, man she pisses me off. She pulls the same 'tortured' expression with teary eyes in every film and just looks bloody constipated. by Scream 3 I was egging the killler on.lol. another bad thing about scream 3 was courtneys dodgy hair and anorexic look! urgh. She looked mighty fine in the first two though.

I also love the scene in Scream 2 with Sid and her friend both trapped in the car with the killer, that was just so terrifyingly intense.

I love the SCREAM movies! Even the third! I think I might need to start watching them tonight! I have the score soundtrack for Scream 1 and 2 and it's great!
