LaKisha, Melinda, and Jordin are all good but I think Melinda is the one that can keep up with doing what it takes each week. There now a guy that can even come close to these 3 girls I think!

Well according to AmericanIdol.com the theme was supposed to be 90's but it sure wasn't. I really don't have a clue what the theme was. Sanjaya, Chris R. and Jordin all sang No Doubt songs, LaKisha and Melinda sang Donna Summer, Haylie Sang Cyndi Lauper's True Colors and I can't remeber what Blake, Chris S., Gina or Phil sang. |

I missed American Idol on purpose tonight, just because Gwen Stefani was on it. She makes me so angry now, just looking at her.

Oh right. I got that info from the American Idol site.
I haven't seen the show yet, it airs tomorrow here in the UK.
I've just watched some live performances from Gwen on YouTube and they aren't good. Without spoiling much - how was she and Akon?

I thought Gwen's performance was up to par but the same can't be said for the idols! WIth a few exceptions (chris R, Blake, melinda) the idols definately had their weekest show yet!!
And can I jsut go on record as saying.......Sanjaya!
Thats all I have to say about that.

OMFG. Just watched Gwen.
LMFAO. She gave advice to the others? She's terrible. And what was the point in Akon even being there. WORST Idol performance ever. Which is a shame cause she's nice. But hey, she's gotten worse these last few years.

You have *got* to be kidding me!? Kelly CAN sing. Gwen no longer can.
I get that your a fan and all - but wow she sucks LIVE. Personally, I prefer singers who can sing live - but hey if you like singers who only sound decent in a studio then thats cool.

Sanjaya whats with that hair... and then Ryan made fun of him the next night.... its sad when SNL or Mad TV makes fun of your show but when you start making fun of your own show its getting old. I just wonder how much longer this show can make it. I love American Idol but its starting to just get to stupid!

I agree....I have a feeling Sanjaya is going to go down in history as the kid that jumped american idols shark! He is making a mocker of the show and I have a feeling it has just begun. The further he gets, the more i think people are going to see idol as a joke  |
