I think it's absolute bull that Sanjaya is still there and to think it's all because if some website and Howard Stern tellling his listeners to vote for him just so they can see how far he goes. It's not fair to the other contestants that are actually good.

I think this whole Sanjaya mess is hilarious. If you go to votefortheworst.com (the website supporting him) they tell you how the audition process REALLY works and its pretty messed up. Really its not a competition until its turned over to the public, and they are just trying to humiliate people for the sake of good TV. Winning Idol means nothing if you don't already have it (case in point; Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks) so all these people getting voted off instead of Sanjaya shouldn't worry. And I'm sure the producers love it since the ratings are so high and its getting so much publicity. Plus, every vote cast raises money for some country so its good for the world. Sanjaya is the new Angelina Jolie.

Some country....Africa.... Randy was on my local (detroit) news this morning talking about the suckage that is Sanjaya. He was beeing pretty blunt. When they asked if he could win, Randy laughed out loud for a good 5 seconds and then got as serious as could be and said "No dog. No" So....the bottom 3....WHY! I Love Gine Phil, Sanjaya, and Haley should have been the bottom three and Sanjaya should have been voted off!!! I am getting really annoyed that people with GREAT tallent are going home and SANJAYA and his creepy dad are staying week after week. ALOS>>>>>> "Welcome to the world of Sanjaya"...Seriously? I HATE HIM!!!! And not in the he-makes-for-good-TV" kind of hate!

This seriously had to be the worst week yet! EVER! I thought Blake was OK and he was the best male of the night in my oppinion. melinda was good to but not as good as usual. Hmm..... I be the bottom 3 is Phil, Haley, and Chris R ( ) I really love Chris R but he was just BAD BAD BAD! And then the judges said he was good! That was crazy!!!

I like Sanjaya too. I've liked him from the beginning. I think he should be treated like everybody else. If he has a good week, he should stick around. I hope all the idols pick it up a little. I was kind of bored with the song choices and some of the performances.

But its unfair to the other contestants if they do really well and get eliminated while Sanjaya who has had one good performance since the top 24 stays around.

That depends on how you define good. If you mean good vocally, I understand. However, I define good as entertaining, so seeing Sanjaya up there being ridiculous and having fun with his stupid hair, butchering a Gwen Stefani song is what I want to see. I find Melinda Doolittle to be the most boring contestant out of all of them and her humble attitude is getting super old. As far as it being unfair, good singers now have the exposure needed to get a record deal and be successful in the biz. The show should just keep the people who are entertaining for the sake of the show, because honestly, Sanjaya is the only interesting thing happening. (Well, besides Cake and their sort of gay moments) and there is nothing that says not winning (or even getting voted off midway) doesn't translate into success; Look at Kat McPhee, Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson, and Chris Daughtry.

I hope Sanjaya leaves, but I have a feeling he's going to win like last year's Taylor Hicks blah.

I think Martina McSomebody is the coach. Its Martina McBride. Anyways Country week is always my favorite week on American Idol, I think it will be a tough week for LaKisha and Melinda. I hope Jordin does really good and that Phil doesn't sing another LeAnn Rimes song.

Thats it! McBride. I couldn't, for the life of me, remmeber her last name!
I generally don't like country week at all but there seems to always be a contestant who rebels and puts their own twist on a country song! That's always fun! My money is on Blake for doing that this season.
Also, there really is no 'country' contestant this year so this week should be interesting!

Tonights episode was really great! The best country week yet...well, Cary was better but s a whole, this was the most entertaining country week yet!
Blake and Chris (der) were my favorite guys but Melinda and Jordin were by far the best (imo)! Also, I thought it was really great for the judges to recognise the tragedy in VA and mention it to the contestants from that area was really classy of them...also...imo

WTF how dare LaKisha sing Jesus Take The Wheel, she was so awful it was actually painful. Anyway Jordin was by far the best with A Broken Wing. I thought Blake, Chris and Phil were ok and Sanjaya was back to be the worst. I think the bottom 4 will be Phil, LaKisha and Chris with LaKisha going home.

On votefortheworst.com there is a fanfic of Chris and Blakes (or "Cake"s) first homosexual encounter. Its pretty hilarious, they're singing a George Micheal song while doing it. I was continuously laughing throughout the whole thing..........highly recommended.

I will have to check out the Chris/Blake fic. Sounds great I know Jennifer Holliday is the origional singer of the song but honestly, the idol audience knows it as a Jennifer Hudson song.
