Mathieu, I've been to France and heard a lot of (probably fake) accents on TV, so I have to say that you guys do sound sexy(okay, it was years since I was in France). However, your accent is too american to sound that sexy. Or maybe you're just from a more non-sexy accent-y part of France.
Not that I wouldn't do you, but if you sounded less american, I'd find you sexier.
Of course, nothing beats a british accent.

I'm glad you think I sound a little too American to really have the sexy French accent thingy going for me. Many of my American friends often advise me to exaggerate my French accent to increase my sex appeal with the girls, but I think that's dumb. So I won't give into that. What part of France did you go to? I think that no matter where you come from in France, the "regular French accent" is pretty much the same everywhere.

Marseille? Awesome, I love the French Riviera. They sure have a strong accent down there. Lyon (where I'm originally from) is a little bit more up north, so my accent is a little softer (I mean, when I speak French). Last time I ate snails were about 15 years ago, I think! I have no idea what it tastes like anymore!! You should try frogs too. I haven't had any in like... 15 years too, but frogs taste more like chicken. I'm not too sure about eating snails again though, it looks too slimy indeed. And yes, most French people are maniacs on the road. What do you expect? Blame it on our Latin roots. Italians are even worse I reckon.

It seems to be a common thing down south, this way of driving. My family went to Spain and told me about how they pocket-parked(pretty sure that's not the word).
If they've parked on the side of the road and want to get out, or if you want to park there, they make place buy bumping into the others cars to make room. Atleast where my family where. Their bumpers can't look pretty.

I have my driver's license but I never drive in the US, I take the subway and the bus, or I get rides from my friends ;-) I do drive in France but not too often.

British accent is very sexy but a Scottish accent... *swoon*! Think Gerard Butler! Yummy!

I don't know who Butler is, but I used to watch a scottish show and I was drooling a lot. The main male character was gorgeous, had a kilt and his accent made me guahmmblingmmmm

Maybe I've never heard the right Scots speak though.

Ooohhh scotts... just think of Sean Connery!!! That's a svelt sounding voice!
I don't think I've ever heard Gerard Butler's natural accent. I've seen him in a bunch of stuff, but they've all been american accents or something similar.

HEY EVERYONE! I'm trying to make a compilation clip of everyone's accents! If your vids are not on this last page could you please make a quick post with URLS to ALL of the vids you've done thus far! I've been inactive last few days and haven't kept up with the new vids! (I'm so happy this thread has been so active & successful! ;D Also, if you posted your clip in photobucket I'm not sure how to download it, only youtube clips... so if you can show me how to steal ur photobucket stuff or if you could upload to youtube that'd be great! If you don't want you clip possibly in a comparison vid then please say so, otherwise I probably will use it Thanks everyone!

I only just got around to checking out this thread now. I really doubt I'll be contributing to this array of accents though. ;D Secret Scoobie is from where I'm from so it's not like I'd be contributing anything new and I'm HIGHLY shy as well as camera shy. Plus, I don't have access to a webcam since I lost the software to my webcam. Grr lol. Thought I might comment on all of these accents as I go. Ahaha. Yes, I'm behind, but it's the thought that counts, right? Skytteflickan88 - I understood what you said! The name you said was confusing though. I like how you say 'Secret Scoobie'. 2nd video - I liked your pronunciation of three as 'tree'. Haha. 3rd video - You're angry tongue twister reading was hilarious! Evilwillowrocker - I love English accents! Yours is so awesome! 2nd video - you're very entertaining in your videos, I must say. Ahahaha. And what was that at the end of the video? LOL. 4th video - You're second tongue twister made me crack up laughing. 5th video (I think? Too many to remember count) - I love your laugh! It's so awesome! Mathieu - Your accent is so peculiar! (In a good way) 3rd video - When you were doing a thick french accent you kept stuttering. Ahaha. Very french sounding. Secret Scoobie - Someone from the home land!!!! You're Aussie accent is a lot more Aussie than mine. (I think mine sounds less Aussie anyway) Must be a different sounding accent on your side of this small city we call Adelaide. 2nd video - It took me until half way through the video to fully recognise the song you were playing which just happened to be Paramore. Which so awesome, because they're my favourite band. The chances eh? Mcbuffy - Again, I like English accents. Ahahaha. Just Willow - I can hear the sickness in your voice ahaha. It reminds me of an American accent though. Meliafairy - Cute kitty! Your accent reminds me of one I hear a lot of podcasters having. Deathisyourgift - You do sound really unaccenty. It sounded faintly American in there somewhere. Ahaha. 3rd video - It sounded moreso American in this one. Dragonweaver - You sound so Texan! That is so awesome. Midnight Butterfly - I couldn't hear any Irish in your accent. It sounded really standard to me! It was really good. Rebecca - Your accent sounds like a really sophisticated American accent to me. Sagewoman - You sound very Canadian. Very awesome. Emmie - You have a really standard sounding American accent to me. Shivi - Your video was really creepy with the childish music and you sounded like you were whispering and the video footage was just black. It probably just seemed creepy to me because it's almost 11:30 at night. Hahaha! Awesome accent though. Mike - Nice commentary surrounding the video. Hahaha. Again, sounds like a really standard American accent to me. I probably just don't know enough about American accents. Ahaha. Lurchibald - Where are you from? Your accent sounds Aussie! Wow, all that reading of 17 pages took like 2 hours. The name Stella in that text everyone read kept reminding me of Stella out of How I Met Your Mother. Hahaha. I loved everyone's accents! So awesome! Such a diverse forum SlayAlive is, eh? And wow, I didn't think that responding to everyone's accents would make such a long post!
