You know what bugs me? you dont find out what happened to Miss Kitty Fantastico . did she get hit with a crossbow by dawn in touched funny moment: DAWN Xander, my crossbow is not out here. I told you, I don't leave crossbows around all willy-nilly. Not since that time with Miss Kitty Fantastico.
XANDER Hey, did you know I have to take a driving test every year now?
DAWN Because you're old?
XANDER No, because of my eye. It's a whole state law. They don't trust my depth perception anymore.
DAWN That sucks.
XANDER ) And you know what's even worse? All the stupid "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye" jokes. "Hey, Xander, so no more fun and games, huh?"
DAWN ) Giles was just having fun with you.
XANDER That's not the point. It's an obvious joke. It'd be like someone calling me a cyclops.
DAWN Oh. OK, so not that funny.
XANDER I mean, uh... give me some "eye of the beholder" jokes. You know? Or, uh... some "eye for an eye" jokes. Or maybe even a post-modern "I, Claudius" joke, you know? It's about standards, Dawnie.
DAWN I know.
XANDER Just, uh, be creative.
DAWN Look, everyone's still kind of on guard around you. But before you know it, Aah! Aah! ha she gets knocked out can anyone tell me?

Yeah, I wish they had explained it before End of Days. It's kinda like one of the writers was like "Holy crap! Tara had a cat, didn't she? We haven't mentioned it in a while, like it just disappeared. Here, let's say Dawn killed it." Lol.

One thing that always bugged me being an Anya fan is that when she was in Anyanka mode in "Selfless" she was kicking some Buffy butt, so then why wouldn't have she helped Buffy out with Willow at the end of Season Six. I'm not saying they would've beaten her, but together they probably would've been pretty formidable.
That and obviously after her demon days she found out in Chosen that she had some skills left, but it kind of irks me that that is the first time she discovers it.

It's a good point Xander-Shaped Friend. If she can give Buffy a run for her money, she may as well team up with her against Willow. Following on from the same point, she's very easily swept aside by Willow when she's discovered chanting.

I think that Anya point just made is quite easily (fanwankily) explained. She was to busy trying to keep the spelling going. Without that spell no one would have stood a chance cause Willow just would have magicked the world away and everyone dead!
I guess they had to use Anya as the person to do the counterspell here. I suppose they could have had Xander do the counter spell, but he had never really done any spells before, where as Anya was quite powerfully at that point when it came to magic.
Also, it wouldn't have fit the storyline really to have Anya and Buffy beating down on Willow...

how come in Dead Mans Party, when the cat was resurrected, no people were? was the mask not strong enough yet or something? and i hate when Giles is looking through the book and just happenes to turn his head away from the right page, and turns it over without even glancing at it

I'm guessing it was to show that he wasn't taking research seriously. Like he had had enough of it and was losing concentration. I've flicked through magazines like that before!

I told you, I don't leave crossbows around all willy-nilly. Not since that time with Miss Kitty Fantastico. I think "that time with Miss Kitty Fantastico" is a variant on the Noodle Incident: The really funny story that's referred to but never actually told, because in truth, the story itself couldn't possibly be as bizarre as the reference makes it sound. TVTropes explains the concept this way: "The Noodle Incident is something from the past that is sometimes referred to but never explained, with the implication that it's just too ludicrous for words, and the reality that any explanation would fall short of audience expectations." (Other Buffy examples on that site include Willow and Xander's "the guy with the antlers on his belt" and Xander's "Nobody really bothered me, or even spoke to me, until one night, when one of the male strippers called in sick, and no power on this earth will make me tell you the rest of that story.")

I'm reading everything I'm typing right now and it's not making me sound like a crazy person. At all. /tongue-in-cheek I was married to a Brit a while so I get the thing about the jelly vs. jam. But my ex picked up some of the local dialect and even a peppering of accent (he was RP, for the record) after a few years. So, I just kind of assume that after X amount of years in the US, Giles kind of picked up a few of the local ways. Now, if he was in a posh pub in London and suddenly shouted "Hey buddy, gimme like a Bud Light and some wings!" I'd worry. Molly's accent was pretty bad. If you want a comparably-bad American accent, rent "Cold Mountain". Awesome story; horrifyingly bad accents. Oh, God, they were Southern accents, too. Even some Northerners have trouble doing a fake Southern accent, I don't know what made them think to find British and Austrailian actors, lol.

I forgot to add the thing that bugged me, and here it is: In Season 5 when they went to the bronze with Dawn, Dawn asked why she had to wear a wristband. Then the Scoobies told her she wasn't old enough to drink. Um, hello! Neither were they! At that time they were 19/20, and the legal drinking age in CA is 21. That scene made no sense at all. On top of that, there was never any other episode with underage people wearing wristbands. This bugs me way more than it should, but GAH!

Most of the people I went to school with are 19 or 20. I've seen Facebook pictures of them, clearly in a bar, doing body shots and other really-drunken things, while being 18 or 19. I don't drink, and I've never even tried to get into a bar, but a lot of underage people do...as illegal as that is here.

Maybe the writers just momentarily forgot how old the main characters were? (It wouldn't be a hard slip to make, especially with most of the actors being in their mid-twenties.) The Bronze does seem to be pretty strict about carding (witness Anya's "I'm 1120 years old, get me a freakin' beer!" moment) ... are there times when we see the Scoobies drinking there while underage?

in season 4 Willow's seen drinking at the Bronze, "Something Blue" i think though she could've just sneaked in with that beer since she was hiding it anyway

That's right, I forgot about that. But, yeah, there are some indications that she might have smuggled it in.

What really got to me is that the Oz werewolf looked respectable in Season 2 (Phases) but in later seasons and most noticeably in Season 4 (Wild at heart) he looks more like a ''gay possum''. Why did they change it?

I dont know if this has already been mentioned but when the doctor speaks to Buffy in 'The Body' his lips move at a different time than his audio. It really annoys me, has anyone else noticed?
