as much as i love Buffy, there are a few little things that just bugged me. here're the top two:
1. In The Gift, when Buffy jumps off the tower, she clenches her butt really hard and obviously. I still cry every time i watch it, but that just kind of wrecked the moment for me.
2. In Chosen, Buffy changes shoes about four times within the final battle. She's got her finghting shoes, her running away shoes, her jumping onto the bus shoes, and her jumping off of the bus shoes.
so what little things bugged you?

Sarah's stunt double looks nothing like her, and it would pull me out of the action sometimes. At least David had a good stunt double. James's was pretty bad sometimes as well.

James' stunt double was the absolute worst. Not only was he taller, but he had a huge forehead and his hair was always styled to stick up more like Angel's than Spike's. Best stunt doubles: Angel's > Buffy's > Spike's

Best stunt doubles: Angel's > Buffy's > Spike's Yeah that was my main issue with James' stunt double, the hair. It was never gelled down like Spike's. The hair looked longer too which just made it worse. Adam Baldwin's stunt double was also pretty bad during his fight with Angel in NFA. That guy was a behemoth compared to Baldwin.

A curling iron and some product can work wonders. At least she was blond in both eps.

The worst stunt double had to be Warren's from Seeing Red. Went from some nerdy looking skinny guy to some tall, bulked up, model-esque man.

His stunt double is really noticeable during his fights with Buffy in both School Hard and Harsh Day of the Light....that I've noticed

- Season 1, 2 and sometimes 3 fashion. - Stunt doubles were usually always awful.. Come to think of it, I never really noticed Riley's stunt double.. He must have been really similar looking. - The breathing vampire issue that I've brought up once upon a time. It just bugs me! But other than that, I'm happy with the show.

The thing that always ruin the Angel/Buffy fight at the end of season two for me is that the Angel stunt double has a horribly obvious receding hair line. I watch the fight going "Now it's Angel. ... ... Now it's the guy losing his hair. ... ... Now it's Angel. ... ... Now it's the guy losing his hair. ..." and so on.

Yeah I agree, that was the only time Angel had a noticeably bad stunt double. Wesley's stunt double when he jumps out of the prison window with Faith had a receding hairline as well. Couldn't they have found some younger people?

I know this is a big part of both Buffy's and Angel's appeal but some of the just-before-staking quips are just too silly.
Angel doesn't do it that often, but after seeing him as stone face guy for three years, having him so easily coming up with quick remarks in season 1 was weird to watch. I get that in season 1-3 he never got the chance to be himself, but I still thought "Huh? I guess Buffy rubbed off on him..."

FTW! i always through Mike Massa (Angel's double) was fairly good. Sarah's was awful because around season 3-4 Sarah got real skinny, and her stunt double stayed a healthy size, so it was very easy to tell the difference.

it always bothered me that Willow was the one who was cyber-stalked... she seems like the least likely to fall for that. i always felt like she was too smart to fall for someone saying that they liked her... best quote (Terribly paraphrased):
"Xander: I could say i'm an elderly dutch woman. Buffy: But you aren't. Xander: But who's to say i'm not if i'm in the elderly dutch chatroom? Buffy: I get your point. Oh my god, i get your point! This guy could be a circus freak. HE'S PROBABLY A CIRCUS FREAK!"

"That'll put marzipan in your pie plate, bingo!" FTW! My one regret in life is not being able to squeeze that onto a license plate. As for annoyances... I never noticed the shoe changing in Chosen. I will have to rewatch! But I have my own gripe about the Chosen shoes. She's going into battle wearing these designer pointy-toed boots. What gives. Buffy has her own style, and likes to follow form over function sometimes, but c'mon. That's just funny. (Loved the rest of her outfit, though.) Another annoyance is the guy with the big forehead and Monchhichi hair that's David's stunt double early in the series. Another annoyance is Dawn, Season 5 and most of Season 6.
