Well surely it just makes sense? There's enough space for one of them to break free, they're going to fight for it and it's going to be the strongest one that manages ot get out. Though of course it's been a while since I watched season seven I might have this all wrong...

The cage stuff reminded me about the writing flaw that Marti Noxon mentions in her commentary for "What's My Line". Angel gets locked in a cage by Kendra and a simple padlock keeps him in, whereas he can break through much more other times he has to. I find they do that a lot on shows like this. Willow somehow forgets there is a spell that could help, or Angel can move about undetected and uber fast until he has to catch up to something and then he can't make it? Also things like the ubervamps being rediculously hard to kill but in Chosen even the lay people are able. I might have linked to this before, but the folks at Boils and Blinding Torment wrote a hilarious article called " The Idiot's Guide to Continuity on Buffy the Vampire Slayer." It includes charts comparing the various abilities of humans, things of demon persuasion, and "Slayer, the."

At first it used to bugged me that the Turok-Hans were so easy to kill in the end compare to the beginning. I was watching Empty Places last night and Anya made me realize something. She mentioned that killing these uber-vampires with a stake is like driving wood into steel. Of course you will have to be packing some serious super strength, which by time Chosen came all of the girls did. I also figure after being sitting ducks for months all the potentials were ready to kick a lot of uber-vamp ass.

I also notice that the the first Turok Han, it stated that the first Turok Han was waiting for a long time. "Has buckets of energy, poor dear. Been layin' in wait for his moment. Since before the bug walked. there, there, pet. Soon as the moon comes, you'll have your carnage. Little girls tear so easily... Like pink paper" So i think that stated the fact that The Turok Han has allot of energy to burn.

Giles, Robin & Anya were slicing those ubervamps like pros. Even Dawn and Xander were fighting them off. Yet it took almost all of Buffy's strength to kill the first one. So that one being the strongest does explain why it was so hard to kill.

I think Giles and others were mostly fighting Bringers. I could be wrong. I'm watching Chosen next in part of my re-watch so I'll check later. Except for Dawn and Xander if I remember correctly who got a couple of ubervamps, but thankfully they used the sunlight to their advantage.

The thing that bugs me so much every time I watch it is in Gone. Buffy and Willow are in the kitchen. Willow's cooking eggs on the stove. Spike comes in from outside and in the MIDDLE of cooking her eggs, Willow all of a sudden takes it off the stove, sets the hot pan on the COUNTER with the liquid eggs bubbling and says she's going upstairs to bed.
Gah. Who does that?
It was clearly a ploy by the writers to give Buffy some actions, like washing the dishes, and obviously the spatula. But couldn't Willow have been pouring cereal into a bowl or something? I just don't think it's believable to stop cooking eggs in the middle of the process for no good reason other than you're lazy. And yes, maybe this is a way of showing she's depressed and all that. It just bothers me that she leaves the hot pan on the counter.

I hate the part in When She Was Bad (which I just watched for the first time in forever) where Buffy, Xander and Willow are talking about dreams and Willow implies she had a dream about Xander, only to awkwardly try and get out of it. Later, it was revealed that this conversation about dreams is in fact a dream itself, and that cute little moment was ruined.

I always thought Tara/Willow deserved their own theme music. You know that music that would come on anytime a certain couple had a romantic moment in the show. I noticed that other couples like Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Spike, Willow/Xander & Willow/Oz had it with their scenes. Even Spike & Dru had theirs. They even played Angel and Buffy's theme in the end of "I Will Remember You" over on Angel's show. They definitely should have had a theme for those two.
Along with adding Amber Benson to the opening credits earlier than they did.

I just noticed how long it took them to add Lorne on the opening credits for Angel. He doesn't show up until season 5 and he was in every episode of season 4 except for one. That was sort of irritating.
I do agree about Willow and Tara getting their own theme, they were a major couple that deserved a good theme.
I may have mentioned this before, but I'm doing a total rewatch of the show and it drives me crazy how often Buffy cuts herself off when she's talking. It actually makes sense with the character, she's emotionally cut off and when she talks about something super emotional she stops herself. So I get it, and good on the writers, but if I were one of her friends I would eventually have to yell at her to finish a damn sentence already. It's not like it's not obvious where she's going with it. The cat is out of the bag, stop trying to shove it back in, lol.

^^I swear I was thinking the same thing during my recent season 5 re-watch.
Dawn killing Ms. Kitty Fantastico. I know it was suggested to be a accident, but Dawn how could you! She was such a pretty kitty. And I'm not even a cat person.

You can always subscribe to an alternate interpretation of the line. Like maybe Dawn left a crossbow lying around, Miss Kitty Fantastico accidentally set it off, and the bolt destroyed something in the house.
