Sad to see him go, but it was clear he wasn't very happy here Shame; cause we had similar views lol Sorry I really didn't mean to offend Ambersknight.... although I think he was upset before I even posted. That said, I don't see how you guys can disagree with what I said. It is storytelling, Joss has the right to kill any characters whenever he wants, the way he wants. SORRY if my post sounded harsh though... This is a discussion about a character's place in the opening credits. That isn't story-telling at all. I've never been a huge fan of Tara so it never registered to me, but looking at it from a fan's perspective, I can totally understand why they would be upset. It's a cruel joke at their expense, even if you have to take it a bit too seriously to be hurt. The trick would have been better used as intended with Jesse. That undermining of security would have resonated more effectively early on, and wouldn't have turned the death of a well established character into a bit of a joke.

Joss doesn't strike me as gratuitously mean to his actors. I mean most of the people he's worked with seem ready and willing to work with him again which doesn't seem likely if he treated them badly. I tend to think it was meant as a way of including her, even though she was leaving the show, like she earned her place in the credits, so this being the last chance to do so he included her.
