How many people have you introduced to BtVS and they became fans? I've shown the show to 2 of my friends. They both thought it was pretty good, but not interested enough to keep watching it. So I guess my count is at....0

I haven't converted anyone. Heck, my friends make fun of me for being such a fan.
But I do have a friend that is a recent convert due to Hulu. He is going to be a school teacher. So he started watching it to get an idea of "what the kids are into these days". He says he enjoys it. He will never be more than a casual fan though.

One person and she loves the series. She watched Angel too and she just borrowed Buffy again to start watching it all over. I have another friend that found the show on her own, so that's cool.

I've loaned my DVDs out to a few friends and they have enjoyed it. One even got their mom into it. But there was one friend where I watched every single episode of Buffy and Angel in chronological order with her, took over a year, and she did nothing but bitch, complain and blast every aspect of the show. But she loved it, she was just ashamed because she made fun of it for at least a year beforehand. I mean, she watched every episode.

All 3 of my sisters have watched and enjoyed both Buffy and Angel. It's only the younger 2 of them that continue to talk about Buffy and Angel with me every now and again. The missus is proving to be quite difficult however, although she did watch the entire first disc of Angel season 1 lol

Together with my sister, I introduced my dad to the series. He watched it all and enjoyed it, but I think he needs to watch it again... Due to the constant Buffy-chat between me and MrKittyFantastico, one of our other friends who has seen up to Season 4 will be joining us for our marathon sessions soon!
However, I have a confession to make. One friend from my under-grad actually liked Buffy more before knowing me. She says my incessant rantings about the deeper meaning of the show made her unable to watch it. However, I frankly think she just says she doesn't like it to get a rise out of me. And it works.

I converted my sister. It was by accident tough, she watched it because I did. I was in that age that I didn't want anything in common with my sister, but I guess my interest made her curious.
EDIT- And my mom borrowed my sister's and my DVDs. She's not really a fan, but she's seen some seasons. Pretty sure I accidently converted my niece too.

One of my friends. She's not a huge fan like me, but she likes it and has seen all the seasons.

I have converted 3 people. Well, 3 and a half if you count my brother. He'll watch eps with me and he's seen the majority of the show, but he's not a die hard fan.

i let one of my friends borrow my DVDs, and he loves the show so 1?
my neice sits and watches the show with me sometimes, she's only 11, but she's saw all of season 6 since it's the only season my sister owns on DVD now (god knows why she sold the others)
she refers to Anya as 'that demon one' and Tara is 'that lesbian' haha, she just cannot ever remember their names ...i'll get over it one day

Ex boyfriend and his best friend. My best friend and her mother. My current boyfriend and his mother. My brother. My grandma. So, 8 I suppose. They all love it now and borrow the dvd's from me all the time. I tried to get my mother to watch it, but she won't.. She's a meanie.

None. The only fellow Buffy fan I know (IRL) is my best friend from high school, who actually got me into the show in the first place! My husband likes it and will watch it with me, but he is not the hardcore fan that I am. I think he just humors my obsession. But while other people in my life really don't get it, at least he understands it. Oh, I also should mention that back when I lived with my grandmother for a while, she used to watch it with me too, although, she didn't understand why I really liked a show about "monsters." Back when I lived with her she didn't have cable, so Buffy was pretty much the only thing I ever watched and she would watch it with me.

I've been trying to get my mother interested in "Buffy" and "Angel" based on the fact that she likes "Bones."
No luck yet. She's already pretty over-booked as far as her TV watching goes.
I think I've convinced her to watch "Dollhouse" with me when the season 1 DVD comes out, tho.

One so far, and she really started watching because the Faith character was intriguing to her and she thought Eliza was hot. So she started watching Buffy with only the Faith stuff, then she had to know what was happening and why, and started watching the rest. But, she's a really hardcore fan now. Following S8, inhales fanfic, can discuss the show for hours. Do I get bonus points for that?

Well, if the definition of "converted" is creating a new active devotee for the fandom, I have a pretty low count. But, if it includes just getting people to watch the whole show through, I have a pretty high head count. I cant seem to find many people in real life whom are into his shows on the level I am. Although, recently, I discovered a local Buffy Meetup Group that meets around every month, and everyone in it is as big of a fan as I am. It's pretty great. I have lent the show to my mother, my sister, quite a few of my friends, and my ex-boyfriend. My ex enjoys Angel better, but my mother loves all Joss' shows. She's excited about watching Dollhouse when it comes out on DVD. I don't know if they'd watch the shows again, but all of them have had good things to say about the shows. It's so much fun for me to "convert" people because then I can live vicariously through them as they watch it for the first time
