I got one of my friends into it. Shes not as into as I am, but that's not to surprising considering how into I am. She hasn't watched all of it yet, her computer is all messed up and keeps over heating when she tries to watch a video on it. I'm hoping to get my roommate into if she isn't already. I let you know how that goes.

Sadly no one, I've nudged internet friends who were interested in the show, fortunately, me and parents watched the show together as it, so no work had to be done there and my 2 best friends were already into it too. I find people in "real life" aren't as easily swayed. But I have got friends and my parents into Veronica Mars, The Shield, Arrested Development, Firefly and a bunch of other shows.

I've partially converted one of my friends from another website. She's only watched the first 6 episodes since she's been busy a bit with other things -- and I'm currently trying to convert a few more people ^^'. I don't think anyone else I convert will become a bigger fan than me about Buffy though xD.

Three, so far. I always try to get other family members to watch the TV series I'm into, and with Buffy, I was very successful. Both my mom and brother love it, so we're a little Buffy-natic family now. I also took my " ... and then Buffy staked Edward. The End." t-shirt to school. My friend, who loves Twilight, by the way, didn't like it at first. Few months later she started watching Buffy. She's seen the season 1 so far and she's looking forward to see some more. Yay! The thing is that Buffy (& Angel) is highly underrated among people in my country... which sucks. So I think it's important to spread my Buffy love as much as possible.

I have converted 7 to Buffy. I would love to say eight, but she just won't admit she likes it. She says it's dumb and blah blah blah but whenever I make her watch it she just sits there, glued. Then one day I was like "You know you like it, you just don't want to admit it." and she was like "it's funny sometimes, it's just dumb" and I just think that's proof she's in denial. That and she loves everything else Joss has done.
3 to Angel and there is only three there because that's how many people are that far along in Buffy.
2 to Dollhouse
1 to Firefly
2(3) to Dr. Horrible

I've gotten my mother to agree to watch Buffy with me. I don't know if she'll like it, but we'll start out with Welcome to the Hellmouth and see where it goes.
She liked Firefly. I tried to get her into Dollhouse. She watched the first 2 episodes and decided she didn't like it. But she's a "Bones" fan and likes David Boreanaz, so she said she might be interested in watching "Angel." I said great, but it's a spinoff of Buffy, and there's a lot of stuff I'll have to explain if we don't watch the first 3 seasons of Buffy first. So she decided to go for it.
It will take a while, since I only go over there a couple times a week... but there's no deadline.

I've recently converted one person to Buffy, and I'm working on another two friends who refuse to move past the first episode despite my constant talk about how it get's sooo much better.
But I've converted five people to Dollhouse and two to Firefly. Working on Angel converting and I'm trying to get my mum to watch Serenity with me. ;D Ohh and about three people to Fray as well and two to Dr. Horrible.

I've converted none. My girlfriend is not too fond of Buffy because my watching the show consumes so much of my time. At least I got some students of mine interested since I have started to finish my class on gender, law & power (which I read in the summer term) with a lecture on buffy, gender & power. Talk about combining job & passion ...

I suppose I converted my boyfriend...we've watched Dr. Horrible and all of Buffy, and he seemed to like it. We were supposed to watch Angel but I think we're taking a break from the Whedonverse for now. I got very lucky. When I first started talking to him, we talked about how Fox cancels great shows, and he asked me if I'd ever seen Firefly. He's a keeper.

I've watched the first 3 episodes with my mom and so far, so good. If we can make it through season 1 and into the Boreanaz-heavy season 2, it should be clear sailing.

I sorta got my sister in to it. Its not her favorite, but she does like the musical one a lot. Even tho she said that hated Angel she could just see 1 or 2 episodes and remember their names. Like for Illyria she got her name down right a way but for me it takes monthes and I still have trouble. My mom seems to like it she only seen the first two seasons, but she could only focus on one show at a time and right now that The office, witch is also a good show. When I watch Angel on TNT when ever Cordelia was on screen, my mom always look thiers Cornelius (my mom can't pronounce her name)

I made my 2 of my best friends TOTALLY obsessed with it. One of them never shuts up about it and is almost as obsessed as me and has converted 2 or 3 of her own friends.
I also got my mom into it and she loves it. My dad likes it but doesn't get that into it usually, he did for a while when we had a marathon together.
I also got 4 of my school friends to watch it. Two of them are vaguely interested but have only seen a bit of seasons 1 and 2, One of them saw all of it and enjoyed it, and One of them totally loves it and is obsessive about it and we have marathins together and quote it constantly. Much to the annoyance of all of our other friends.
I tried to get my Grandma into it but she was skeptical and I don't think she really understands it at all. She kept asking really weird Q's like "Is Giles a Vampire!?" even after we had seen a few eps. And she is perpetually convinced that Buffy is a vampire even though I keep trying to explain that she's a 'Vampire Slayer." Yeah, I don't think BTVS is my grandma's thing.
I tried to get my long distance friend to watch it too, but she didn't really like it at all except Willow and refused to give it a real chance. Also she's mad at me because I like it more than Harry Potter, which makes her think I'm completely off my rocker.
I met one friend through 'Angel' but she HATES Buffy (the character) and therefore refuses to watch much of the show. I think it's INSANE to watch one of the shows and love it and not watch the other. To me they are 2 halves of the same whole, but each to their own I guess. We often have arguments over which show is better, but I don't think opinions are really valid if you haven't watched both of them.
Overall though, I guess that makes 8 people, so yay! I am a missionary of Buffy! Spreading the Holy works of Joss Whedon throughout the land! =)

I got a friend of mine interested. She had the Buffy-DVDs bought - and then she looked at the covers and thought OMG and wouldn't even open the DVD-box I'm still trying to talk some sense into her.

I converted my best friend by going on and on about it constantly until she finally decided to borrow my dvds to understand what I kept talking about! she also loved looking at all my figures and comics when she was at my house. She quickly became hooked and watched all seven seasons of Buffy within weeks, and is now almost at the end of Angel. She is now obsessed with Angel/David Boreanaz and talks about him a lot. I have given her some small bits and pieces from my Buffyverse that I had doubles of (trading cards, a couple of figures, stuff like that) and bought her an Angel figure for her birthday. My boyfriend had seen Buffy a few times before we got together (about five years ago) but was never a huge fan, just thought it was a good show. I wouldn't say he is a huge fan now, but definitely knows more about it all than he thought he would ever need to know! We live together so he is surrounded by my collection, and he probably actually bought about half of it, as buys me very rare and collectible bits and pieces for birthdays and Christmas. A few of my other friends who have watched it years ago when it was on the television have now started watching it again/buying the dvds, as I have prompted them to remember how good it is and make them want to enjoy it all over again
