Yes, but by the end, the magics keeping the two of them separate are breaking down. That is why Glory starts feeling guilty about her actions, why she feels it when Dawn hits Ben, and why the Scoobies start remembering that there is some kind of connection between Glory and Ben (but what?). I would suggest that this also has the effect of making Glory physically weaker than she was earlier in the season.

The barriers breaking between Ben and Glory more than likely did make her much weaker then she was previously. It comes down to Glory in terms of physical strength is much much more powerful than Buffy. Any time they fought prior to The Gift, Glory was hardly phased when Buffy hit her. Hell the only person that ever hurt her before this episode was Willow when she went all dark magic.

And you misunderstood me Ryan. I said that Buffy needs her friends, as without them, she would have died a long time ago.

I think the reason why people fall back to Buffy vs Glory is simply because Glory is without a doubt the most powerful single enemy she had. Being a hellgod puts her in a whole new catagory of bad far beyond Hamilton or Caleb.
Caleb is a much better comparison for Hamilton then Glory.

And like some of you have said, Buffy didn't defeat Glory on her own but neither did Angel defeat Hamilton alone. Connor saved him from being dusted and Angel used his weapon(vamp-face) to defeat Hamilton, Angel also tried to use a blade in the beginning of the fight. So i think it would only be fair that Buffy would also be allowed to have a weapon and with the sycthe i'm pretty sure she would be able to defeat Hamilton like she did Caleb.

Also like some have said Buffy has almost always needed friends to fight, without her friends like we saw in the Wishverse she wasn't anything special, simply killed by the Master. In that respect Angel and Spike especially have always been better, they have fought a lot more solo.

I doubt that most people on this forum understood any of that post at all, and while I consider myself rather patient, this stops now. When I say incredibly legible, I mean proper punctuation, proper spelling, proper capitalization when it calls for it, and I mean actual English words the way they're defined in a dictionary, and not the way you use them in whatever context.
Edit it, or I WILL delete it within the hour. The same goes for any post from now on.

Buffy would kick his sharp suited a$$ up and down the Wolfram and Hart walls, no doubt he would get a few good hits in but he'll say something like "Your as pointless as those two vampires with souls" then Buffy would get all mad and do some sort of spinney cart wheel kick and BAM. Forever would be even shorter for Hamilton. Ha!

Also Buffy beat Caleb and they are probably about the same. Empowered with a dark blah blah blah. They still lost, Buffy won.

What are ya'll talking about, Marcus beat down the blue meany and angel was disarmed of his weapon so buff probly would've been aswell , therefor not being able to drain him of his power/blood

I personally believe that Hamilton would win in a fight with Buffy.
The only reason why Angel won was because he drenk some of Hamilton's blood.
Even with Connor's help, Hamilton was still beating the crap out of Angel and his son.
I can't picture Buffy doing well against him, unless she too can drank his blood.

And somehow, I don't imagine Buffy having fangs, so drinking Hamilton's blood would be a tad bit difficult and also the fact she hates the taste of blood, so yeah, I can believe that Hamilton would be able to beat Buffy down

Buffy without question. She beat the hell out of a God and the man that the first evil decided to in habit. True, the strength of the Senior Partners was in Marcus veins, but I don't think they are anywhere near as powerful as Glory or the First Evil. Marcus would put up a pretty damn good fight, but in the end Buffy would win. Probably in a similar fashion that she killed Caleb. Btw, how sweet was that death scene when she killed Caleb .

I would also like to point out that Buffy really didn't have help when she beat Caleb. Yes Angel was there, but she told him to stay out of it and he did. Even before Angel came, she had Caleb on the ropes for the most. Also, Angel had help most of the time in battles too. Gunn, Wesley, Connor, Fred, etc all helped in the big fights. Even when he was bad, Angel had Darla and eventually Drusilla and Spike to help him out.

Hamilton. Buffy would have no chance by herself. And I dont think Buffy is stronger than Angel, there about equal to me. Plus the powers Angel has because of being a vampire. Angel had to do a huge 10 to 15 feet back flip and suck the crap out of that guy to kill him. Buffy couldnt have done that.

Angel admitted that Buffy was stronger than him, when she came to LA the second time. She hit him, he hit her back and they had this conversation about it.

Buffy: "You hit me"
Angel: "Not to go all school yard on you, but you hit me first. And if you remember you are stronger than me."
