This is an unofficial Buffyverse Chronology. It's mixed with both Canon and Non Canon material but the Canon material is labeled in Bold and it is in Chronological order from top to bottom. As an Advisory note: Much of the comics listed are supplementary reading (ex: Tales of the slayers, tales of the vampires, etc) which means they don't hurt to read but aren't necessary either.

I think Season Eight 16-19 should be kept in the present timeline since part of it isn't set just the future. But dayum, you did a good job putting this in order. I've been wanting to put the entire Buffyverse in chronological order for a long time. Maybe I can help.

Sure. I want to add any of the books or comics that are ambiguous enough that they don't interfere with what is for sure canon. Like "Queen of the slayers" isn't viable because season 8 retcons it. But i'm sure there are other books or comics I don't know about that are sort of done in one kind of deals where even though Joss hasn't officialized it, there's nothing to say it couldn't be like for instance: Angel the curse.

Removed Angel: The curse and Angel: Auld lang syne after careful consideration and ambiguity. For now i'll keep this thread open for what's strictly Canon ( After the fall, episodes , etc) and things close enough ( Fallen Angel, spotlight, only human) rather than that which is ambiguous and unconfirmed.

I just got the SPike omnibus as a late christmas present and though I already had The lynch stuff I pretty much loved it all. More so than that I loved the fact that the entirety of the stories are canon safe and as the canon anti hero around these parts IMO, I feel like they could be listed in this chronology. At the same time I'm adding the Buffy and Angel episodes by season for those who choose to use this list and/or those who need clarification on watching orders when you watch both shows simultaneously.

Not all the Lynch-written Angel comics are canon but all ATF comics in the Angel series are. #23 is the ATF epilogue and as far as I'm aware, most people consider it canon along with the rest of ATF.

Yeah, Well I do think of it as Canon, they can't leave Gunn in a coma, so I think it is needed.
