Back when I first started watching the series, the episodes would be on in the afternoon, which had episodes of the third Season, and really early in the morning, that showed the sixth Season. The 1st episode I watched was Doppelgängland, and then, I think around one A.M., I watched AfterLife -- needless to say, I didn't understand what the hell was going on in storyline, but was still able to appreciate the series. I also enjoyed more the episodes in the sixth Season. So after cracking up through Life Serial, I started watching religiously and was pretty much hooked.

'welcome to the hellmouth' when it originally aired in britain.
My mum wouldn't let me watch it however, but being the sly little bugger I was I secretly recorded it and watched it in my room the next day. mwahahaha.
And I pretty much watched the whole first season that way, by the time the second season started to air here my mum gave up and just let me watch it.
I have a faint memory of pleading with her when I was about 11/12 to buy me the season 2 video boxset when it first came out...but because it was a 15 she kept saying no...I worked my way around that one as well and I think my sister bought it for me in the forbidden planet in oxford street. haha.
Find it wierd watching dollhouse now...and looking back on all those years ago watching my first ever whedon episode of tv...and how over a decade later Im still hooked on his work. When I make it to 30 I expect him to still be catering to my entertainment needs. hehe.

It was rainy Spring Saturday in 1997-- a repeat episode called "Witch." I still remember the time and place my Buffy obsession started.

I watched "Welcome to the Hellmouth" in September 1998 sometime, when it first aired on BBC2 at 18:45 on Tuesdays. Aaaahhh, memories. My sister and her friend were making too much noise so I watched it in the attic.

Strangely the first episode I ever saw was Chosen. And even though I didn't know the characters I still cried when Spike sacrificed himself.

It was either Two to Go or Chosen online. Can't really remember. And it was just mainly the endings, such as Buffy vs Dark Willow or Spike's sacrifice

Inca Mummy Girl, remember it like it was yesterday lol. I was roughly ten at the time. It's not like that was even an overly amazing episode compared to what would come. I don't know if it's just my love for the show that makes it so memorable or something else, but it was the first of a loooooooong addiction lol.

I had a really hard time remembering which episode was my first one. They used to play them late at night on a local station, and I caught a bunch of season 2 episodes, I'm pretty sure that Bad Eggs was my first one though. I remember my first Angel episode a lot better though.

Welcome To The Hellmouth, cause I started from the start when I started watching. And actually I only did that (start from the start) because I am a bit compulsive: I wanted to watch Buffy for it's lesbian content, but I could not make myself not watch it from the start, I wanted to know where they came from.

I didn't have Sky at that time, so it was definitely BBC2. For some reason, I remember being in school the next day, but it must have been a few days later...Mysterious!
