This week's episode seems no different. Gotta say, this week's episode seems like exactly what you're asking for. The scan is of a psycho killer who's connected to the infrastructure of the Dollhouse. The scans get switched and the entire Dollhouse has to track down the Victor-scanned killer. It's all about the inner workings of the Dollhouse going wrong from the get-go. The client is probably a Dollhouse member high-up. And why is this psycho son's scan even being used?

Forgot the client was a "shareholder" too. Stupid me. But still, the episode does seem a bit to engagement-of-the-week. They just had to make Echo a sexy college schoolgirl. Which they've already done once.
As long as they go deeper with the Dollhouse mythology, and not all "this guy is Dollhouse related, oh no something went wrong, we shall fix by the end of the episode"... I'll be a happy camper.

With the near axing of the show last year youd think they would be keeping the story/lot tighter. eleve a bit more into the actual story and not....erm Echo kidnapping a baby. Where the hellis victor and Boyd btw?! Get the story moving and stop stalling like its got a seven season renewel. Right now id just be happy to get the rest of season 2 done and hopefully it closes the strory nicely and answers most of the questions. i see no evidence of stalling, Vows was an even split between episode and arc. A lot of nice character stuff IMO. Shows like Angel and Buffy were mostly standalone or 'movie of the week' as Joss used to call it and i thought Instinct held up well against the better single stories we saw in the latter half of S1 such as Needs or Haunted. But yeah, next ep looks like you might get what you're after, i hope so - i want everyone to like the show! LOL!

Well, that's almost lovely. Now... if they're gonna pull the plug eventually anyway, at least do us the courtesy they showed fans of T: SCC (self included) and order the back 9 and then release it all in a DVD/Blu-ray boxset.

I'm happy with a DVD to watch as long as Joss kicks the show back into gear. I definately won't mourn this like I did Firefly. This show has had its chances.

Dichen Lachman's twitter says to visit hulu and play the episode in the background... which I am doing now.
Also Eliza Dushku will be on Letterman tonight so that should give the show an extra push. ::crosses fingers::

She talked about bow hunting and traveling with her mom. That's because Letterman didn't give her an opening to say anything relevant. He obviously had no idea who she was or why she was there... admitted he knew nothing about her show. Someone handed him a note beforehand saying Eliza has been hunting, so that's all he talked about. Of course, considering the rest of the show was all about Paul Shaffer and Kiss, maybe his confusion stemmed from the fact that Dollhouse wasn't on in 1977.

But he definitely knows who she is. She's been on that show many times. Just not recently.

Yeah, Dave didn't give her any opening to talk about Dollhouse AT ALL. Although I think she could have tried to connect the hunting stories to training for Dollhouse. Bow hunting-- s1ep2 The Target-- and this season on Dollhouse....

Anyone watch Eliza on Jimmy Fallon last night? Such an improvement on the Letterman interview. She plugged Dollhouse, talked about signing BtVS stakes in her basement, and does combat training with Jimmy Fallon. *sweet* This is more of her audience anyway.

Fallon is a waaaaay better interviewer than Letterman.
