Dark Willow. She is so cool and awesome. Yes, normal Willow is very nice but her dark half is amazing. And of course The First. Because he is ultimate uncorporal undestroyable evil who can take form of any dead being. And I am still waiting someone to dust Drusilla. I don't really hate her, but... so many seasons passed, so many villains are dead and Dru still "lives". It's not fair.

They should bring in an old big bad with a twist. Vampire Faith would be awesome. I always thought they should've done a vamped Slayer. That would be epic. They actually wrote a comic with that plot of the whole "Vampire Slayer" deal. She was wiped from the Watcher's Council records and then Buffy had to fight her. The Vamp Slayer was trying to resurrect the Master by sacrificing Xander. Not a bad comic IMHO.

I totally agree , because the potential of the first is much greater then season 7.

I think the main answer to this topic is: "The First" it was basically a trip down memory lane and bringing back baddies from former seasons such as The Master, The Mayor, Adam, Glory.. etc.
But a Slayer vampire would be awesome too. But they would have to introduce a Slayer in S8 S9 which we've really bonded with and make it a Vampire. But they partially already did that in Fray with Melaka's twin-brother. A Vampire weaponed with inner-slayer knowlege (visions) But another Vampire-big-baddy after Drusilla, Spike, Angelus, The Master and Darla yawn
I know the First had it's butt kicked but I'm digging that baddie. I hope it makes a return cuz that was my favourite villain. Especially when she was sassy Buffy. haha
P.s. - the First took on the form of Glory so yeah she's dead. Glory was bound to a human-host in this reality making her weak. So if Ben suffocated then Glory died as well. Not sure where her power or essence went to but the First could take on her form.
- It could also take on the form of Drusilla because Drusilla's body died long time ago. It's un-dead. It would be soooo fun if Drusilla and the First teamed up hahaha

I have to agree with a lot of you and say of all the big bads, Glory would be my choice to come back. I loved her character and her witty comments. She was just fun all around.

I definitely would love to have Glory come back, she was such a hilarious big bad. At some points she didn't really seem that bad, but then that would change in the blink of an eye, it was great! Her dialogue was always something I looked forward to.

I agree that Glory has to still be alive in some form. No way just killing Ben destroyed a God. Maybe she is livin large like the trio in my sweet banner Tabula made me. She wasn't at full power though because she was in human form. I consider her dead. If she wasn't there's no way she wouldn't have come after the Scoobies. Regardless of if she had the key or not. Not to mention the scoobies would have seen the constant number of mass crazies which was only high when Glory was around. I'm with those who said there's no need to bring back big bads. They've played their parts and had their stories.

Didn't the First take Glory's form in Season 7? The only way the First can do that is if they're dead. For right now I consider Glory dead. That doesn't mean she can't come back though.
If I could bring a big bad back it would be Glory. She was the most interesting and one of the hardest to take down.

I'd go with Glory. She was funny, sassy and interesting to watch. One of my favourite Big Bads, alongside the Mayor. I wouldn't say no to Vamp Willow, but she's not a Big Bad (still dead sexy in that leather outfit)
....We need a drooling smiley lol

Glory, or The Mayor, I liked The Mayor...

The mayor, he amused me the most out of all of them. I also liked how he had that typical politician attitude, but underneath it all he was damn evil. I loved how he worried about such average things like germs while at the same time, he had no problem with eating a bunch of demon spider things, in order to become a snake... I'm sure that box was covered in weird demon germs.

Thinking about it some, I actually would like to see Season 6-ey Evil Willow return again, but mostly because I would love to see a Good Willow Vs. Evil Willow straight up magical brawl.

Dark Willow. I loved her. She's reappeared in S8, in the future, and I loved her there even more. I think we need to see more of her. Find out her agenda.

I agree with tkts about not Marvelizing the Buffyverse, we need more and more fresh villains. We could use some new good guys, too. Glory was my favorite big bad, but I'm tired of her too (I'm agreeing with you Caroline), no more juice in that orange. And I do think she's really dead.
But there were certain characters that I suppose were candidates for big-baddom whose applications were tabled in committee. I wish they could have their chance.
First, Kakistos. This vampire who is more demonic than the Master, sucking blood since before the time of Christ, does it really make sense he should've appeared and died all in one episode? I'll bet he'll turn out to have powers, by virtue of his great age, and ordinary vampires don't.
Then Sunday, who was originally conceived as a slayer-turned-vampire. I know that story line doesn't seem to work, I even started a thread about that, but I'd like to see the A-term try it.
Then there's Rack, the sorceror and magical drug dealer. Here's how I figure: Mayor Wilkins must've founded Sunnyday some time in the 19th century, and he's the only mayor the town has ever had, though he pretended to die a few times. Now he's really dead. There's a power vacuum, right? Rack would be a contender to fill it. BTW, what was Rack's situation while the mayor was in power?
Finally, I'd like to see Buffy fighting herself. How? Suppose there's an alternate universe where Buffy turns bad, as Faith did, and heads up some kind of demonic crime syndicate. The dimensional barriers blur a bit, and two Buffys meet. Would Buffy wind up killing herself?
Those are my thoughts.
