Anyone interested in making our own (non-profit of course) online Whedonverse magazine?

It would have at least 20 pages full with funny lists, articles made by members, maybe transcripts from Q&A's done here, a letter section, interviews with fans(for example of Joe about his animated videos), maybe exclusive interviews with Whedon people if we're real lucky.

I would be creating the magazine in photoshop and convert into a pdf(or whatever they're called) file and it would look like a real online magazine. A bit on the silly side since we're all a bunch of goofballs.

The articles and such would be volunteered by you guys.

I was thinking about doing the layout on my own, but I would love help on the graphics. For example with covers, posters, ads(hopefully funny ads).

Some articles will be pure sillyness, parody's even, while some will be serious. It will be clearly marked on the page whether it's made-up or real, so we can for example have a real interview with someone on one page and on the next one we can have a made up one.

So I wonder, are there people interested? Does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone think this is illegal(I honestly don't know)?

Requirements:
*No maximum word limit yet, but in case you're looking to write a fan fic or article, no need to make it epic-ly long.
*Page size will be 723x1023
*Nothing too naughty. You can mention/show sex and maybe some kissing, but no need to get more graphic than the show. (In case you're writing a fic with a sex scene, you'll have to edit, but in the fic you can leave a link to your fic somewhere online where curious people can read the whole thing).
*Bashing a character or episode is allowed to some extent, but let's not be whiny or immature.


So I'm looking for:

beta readers/editors (people who can help me pick out articles and help me edit them. Tell me which fandom/subject is your preference, for example, Dollhouse, Firefly, comics, etcetc. In case you're interested in reading the entire magazine before I publish it, to make sure I haven't screwed up, that would help too.)

graphics makers(tell me what you wish to do, ads, posters, covers, general layout)

writers(tell me what you'd like to write; articles, interviews, funny lists, drabbles, etcetc)

Lurchibald, you can get working on that horoscopes right now if you wish. And you can base it on real horoscopic studies or go nuts.

I'm real busy with school until the first week of November, but then I can get started for real with this, so I expect our first(and hopefully not last) issue up before Christmas, so in case anyone have any Christmas-y ideas, that would be great.

Should it be different? Bigger(considering it will have the same size as the rest of the magazine pages)?

Great guys, this seems to be starting up real well.

Writers, in case you already have any ideas, PM me them, and I'll approve them(it's not likely that I'll be that picky for the first issue).

I would love a fanfic section. Since I'm not sure how many words I can squeeze in on a page yet, I can't give you a maximum word limit to work with, so drabbles and short poetry might eb an idea. I should be able to give you a max word limit in late November, for those that are interested in contributing.

That's great, you're added to the list.

Any ideas? Posters, ads, made up comics(in case you make ads, you could get a entire page for yourself with made up merchandise).

Whedon stuff, mainly. Did you have something particular in mind? It's not like I'd be opposed to inside jokes for slayalivers.

I would love to make adverts (graphics) and write articles
Please give me something to do, I really cant wait to see how this turns out.

Also, we could put the winning scribes entry, coverama entry, bannerama entry, layoutarma entry and so on in it. Like on the back pages, kinda like a realy magazine.

Also, maybe the slayalive mascot could be put in there somewhere? Its been a long time since the competition and it still hasn't been used.

Here's a list of ideas for you guys. PM me if something interests you.

Graphics:
*Ads (for example for Dollhouse, made up merchandise, real merchandise, something crazy).
*Posters(for made up movies, real shows, etc etc). The can be big, so they take up two pages.
*Funny screencaps with speaking bubbles/blurbs(whatever they're called)

Writers:
*Funny lists
*Reviews(of episodes, shows, comics, books)


EDIT:

*a news section(hopefully two; one for Joss Whedon's projects only snd one for all the other Whedonverse stars)
