So then all of L.A. would be against vampires. Where do you get this theory from? L.A. never knew anything about vampires. They just know that Angel is one and that he saved them...

The woman who treated Gunn at the hospital clearly was aware of the existence of vampires.

Nicholas, that's not what Tie is saying. Just because they're aware of vampires doesn't mean they're against them. They know Angel is a vampire, and they know he just saved them. It's also fair to assume they don't know the specifics of Angel and Spike, that they have souls, as they aren't personal friends. So how are they to tell what vampires are good and bad? I doubt that LA as a whole is against vampires.

Hey, just a quick question that's been bugging me all morning - When Angel was headed toward Gunn, to try and get Gunn to kill him, Wolfram and Hart said "Stop. Stop. You know what this will cost you." Did they mean his life? His humanity? Or Wesley?

I'm guessing they mostly mean Wesley.. but it's honestly quite an open issue. Besides, we still don't quite know what's gonna be the true aftermath (hehe) of Angel bringing everybody back from Hell.
I haven't been around for some time, but I also have a question that's pretty much bugging me. Did anyone notice the purple tentacles in that page where Angel heads to save Gunn? Are they Illyria's? 'Cause she doesn't appear in that image and that would mean she can go back to the huge beast of #14 and #15. :S Am I seeing a monster where there's just bizarre W&H minions?

It's probably the tentacles of Hell itself, as seen through most of the series peeking through cracks in the street or the tops of buildings.

Okay, I didn't explain myself well. I mean when angel is vamped and in normal-LA again, and he leaves the battle to help Gunn, just after the Cordragon entrée. There are some Illyira-like tentacles in the picture in the middle with Spike.
