Ben won't die. Simple.
I'm quite liking this season. Better than last season definately. This time travel stuff runs the risk of trampling all over earlier stuff though, which is worrying. Danielle apparently not recognising Jin in season 1 for one thing. It's a bit of a stretch.

Is season 1 only going to be 13 episodes? I thought that was just the number that was to be garunteed... will no more be made until a *fingers crossed* second season?

Decent itunes sales could keep this show afloat couldn't it?

Is Cyclops really in this? As happy as that would make me, it's too late as they already ruined that character

AC has a point there. We were all waiting for the show to fail when it started, thats the kind of bad buzz that'll cause a show to eat itself. And truth is, the show couldn't have started with episode 6 or 7. Those first 5 introductory episodes tried to draw in viewers while building the characters. We're getting a lot of pay-off now, but the numbers just aren't there.

Another great episode. Was a lil' familiar; every Joss so seems to have the funny "they've all gone crazy" episode, but the greatness of this one is the layers of lies and mind wipes. It makes for many interesting exchanges. I'm starting to fear for the show's future now

I've not actually heard any recent Coldplay. Got the first 3 albums, they're pleasent - they're pretty harmless and every song sounds the same. Pretty much Radiohead for pussies lol

I really wanted to like it, but no... utterly useless. Films that act too smart make me angry. It can have as many complex layers as it likes, but it still needs to be watchable.

I like all of the artists for different reasons. Runge is just more aesthetically pleasing to me for some reason. He was inconsistant, yeah, but I liked the drawing style more than than Mooney's heavy, heavy shade or Urru's less realistic portrayals. The minimal backgrounds were mostly fine with me, I find the art a bit overpowering in the first few issues because of the dense backgrounds and bright colours. I really like Runge's covers too.
All of the guys are more suitable than Ross. Great drawings but they aren't Angel characters.

What I find odd is thinking that Gunn is actually the 3rd most prominant Angel character. His episode count is higher than Cordy's. He never got the spotlight too often, but that whole issue plays out nicely in Angel 5 and now ATF. I love Gunn.

I love this book *hugs*
I really like Runge's work too tbh. He might actually be my favourite artist of the run.
That chessboard cover needs to be in HC #4! It was a great cover! There should be plenty of room in the next book cause there's no fan voted covers left for 13-17.

This episode brought back all kinds of familiar feelings... to list a few: joy, saddness and a sickening fear for character safety.
Great episode this one. I hope this is a new standard.

I don't think I finished this issue at any point... I was really uninterested for some reason. Roll on Faith and Giles!

If you're a fan of high school era Buffy, then the original 6 inch figures from Moore Action Collectables may take your fancy. The line lasted 4 waves before the company went under...
Series 1 - Buffy, Angel, Willow, The Master Series 2 - Buffy 2, Giles, Oz Series 3 - Xander, Cordelia, Spike Series 4 - Drusilla & The Gentlemen.
There's a number of variants for each too. There's also 1 wave of Angel figures consisting of Angel, Cordy and Faith. Sadly they didn't get approval for a Doyle (you seem to be a fan), in fact there's no real Doyle merch out there. I made my own lol
MAC figures had their issues but the DST ones are utterly terrible. I wouldn't advise you move onto their stuff.
