Welcome! I'm new too. Hope things are going well for you.
Also love the user name. I'm a pretty big Spuffy fan myself.

I know! The part about the jacket. I really had no idea what they were talking about. I was seven and I knew a jacket that color wasn't a good idea unless you were a clown. And thanks evilwillowrocker! You've got a pretty sweet banner by the way. I should probably work on making one of those for myself

My name is Bridget and I'm 19 years old. I'm really new to Buffy and forums so I thought applying to have a Watcher would be a good idea.
Here are some nerd facts about me: Favorite Character: Spike Favorite Episode: Once More with Feeling Other Fandoms: Harry Potter, Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and more or less anything having to do with Broadway. Hobbies: Making Youtube videos and writing fiction. I'm currently working on a Spike/OC story right now.

Actually my friend recommended it to me. When I was little, like around 6 or 7 my favorite movie was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think I watched it over 80 times. That's probably where my love of strong female characters came from. I've always wanted to be they type of woman who could fight evil and look good doing it. But since I didn't know that the movie was non cannon I really didn't think I'd want to watch the show. But when I found it on Hulu I figured "what the heck". And the rest they say is history.

Hey there. I've only been watching Buffy for about 4 months now, but within the first 3 episodes I was hooked. Now I own every season and have been waiting for my books and t-shirt to come from Amazon. I'm not new to getting really into certain things. I'm a huge Harry Potter Nerd and I LOVED Sailor moon when I was a little girl. What I am new to is the whole forum thing. I've never been part of one before so it's all kind of strange to me. Anyways I'm having a great time so far and I really hope it doesn't take m too long to learn the ropes.

Erica: 80's Spike has got to be one of my favorite versions of him. So hot. And Essentially yours: When Spike stands behind Joyce and makes all the scary faces I laugh so hard. It's one of my favorite funny moments in the series.

That's a great idea! I'd love to see and hear Amber again. It would give her a chance to be more of an outgoing character, which would be great to see.

I don't think Joss would allow it to go so far as to ruin Dr. Horrible, but there is a chance that it could just not live up to expectations.
Not that it would stop me from seeing it. I would love to listen to Neil and Nathan sing Joss songs again!

I agree that he has some definite draw backs, (Alright calling almost raping some a draw back is a definite understatement), but he's fictional so I'll cut him some slack. I mean Angel did some pretty horrible stuff but I still like him.
and a Spikette? Makes me sound like one of the silly girls from Beauty and the Beast. I wouldn't say I'm that enthused. He's just one of my favorite characters. I'd have to say after him is Andrew. I love it when he makes 'The Big Board' followed by Anya. I've always been very partial to the sarcastic types (even if Anya doesn't mean it to be sarcastic most of the time)

I agree that Spike was always a good character but come on girls: Who wasn't a little turned on my the whole "sneering stud" attitude that he had going on? The whole season I was like " Buffy, Spike. Just make out for God's sake!" In case you haven't noticed: I've got a little bit of a thing for Bad Boy Spike

Ok, I have a question. Does the story have to be completed to be posted here or can you add chapters as you finish them?
