What always bothered me is the way that the scoobies talk in the first two seasons. "Here is the bug man, coo coo ca choo". They seem to have an unlimited supply of pop culture references. I mean I can see a select number of kids talking like this, but everyone they know seems to do it. Didn't strike me as that realistic, even if the way they talk is fun to listen to.

Wow, these were great. Very well written. I really enjoyed the fact that the Illyria had a continuation of the phrase "tick tock tick tock". The comparison between the clock that tells time and the force of time itself was brilliant.
Also 'the unholy trinity' was very clever.

I just figured it was another woman that he loved. Perhaps she was in trouble and needed help I wasn't exactly sure. Gunn had proven himself to be a good man so I wasn't too worried.

I love Giles, let me just say that, but I always felt that Wesley in Angel was a lot smarter then Giles. Maybe it's just because they focused more on the research part in Angel, but Wesley just seemed to know more. He was always talking about all the different languages he had to read and cross referencing things. Wesley worked really hard, especially in the earlier seasons when he didn't really have anyone to help him. I mean Angel and Cordelia helped but they didn't have specific talents like how Willow could hack and then learned magic.
What do you guys think?

I love Giles' and Buffy's relationship for most of the seasons. I believe that Giles always wanted to be like a father to Buffy (line from OMWF) but kept holding himself back. I knew in the beginning he couldn't do that because he was supposed to be her mentor and trainer yet I felt as Buffy grew older and more confident in season 7 he could have acted more of the father role. Some might think that it couldn't have been that way because Buffy is the slayer and she needs to be her own leader and Giles would only hold her back. But I seriously think family and friends are something that Buffy will always need. It's what set her apart from the other slayers and made her a stronger warrior.
I like that Faith and Giles are working together. I think that could have happened even if Giles and Buffy weren't estranged. Faith needs someone like him, well the someone he grew into. When they first met they really didn't mesh well. I also think Giles needs Faith. There is something about the two of them together that I just like. Buffy has always been the white knight and leader in the fight against evil. Giles and Faith share a more intimate knowledge with the evil and corruption which gives them a good basis for a connection.

In the episode I Robot, You Jane when the demon is looking up Buffy's permanent record it says she's a senior. That bugged me for some reason. Maybe it's because she's a senior in the non-cannon movie and then a sophmore at the start of the show. I don't know. It just bothered me.

I don't think I would like meeting any of the cast members. I'm sure they're all really nice, but they're something about seeing people from tv in real life that creeps me out. I watch a lot of hockey and whenever I went to a game it was unnerving to see players up close. Also I do a lot of acting (not professionally) so I try my hardest to separate the actor from the character. I try not to think of Buffy Summers and SMG as the same person. I do the same for all the other characters.

Whatever that was in that portal killed her before she hit the ground. Which makes me wonder, what was in that portal that could kill her just by falling through it?

I'm a fan of the vlogbrothers on Youtube. GO NERDFIGHTERS! They had an episode where one of the brothers and his wife did a cover of "My Eyes". I was completely enamored with the song. So right after I went on goggle and found Dr. Horrible. I burned through the entire thing and LOVED it. Forced everyone I know to watch it too. Even sat behind my roommate to make sure she got started. It really was the first thing done by Joss Whedon that I really loved. Buffy soon followed. Alright guys: How did you find the man with a P.H.D in Horribleness?

I know this is really unoriginal but the Gentlemen were really creepy to me. I was so excited for the episode because I knew it got nominated. I got all set up on my bed in college with pillows and snacks. So I'm sitting there with all my stuff and then out of the blue the gentlemen show up. I freak, knock the popcorn off of my bed and go " Holy Sh*t!". Scared my roommate half to death.

Just about 6 months ago. My one friend was always trying to get me into it but I was like " no that sounds dumb" (I had seen the movie a lot when I was a kid). Anyways I saw some of the episodes on Hulu and I figured what the hell. Within a week I was hooked. Now I own all the seasons, a t-shirt one of the books and have a painting I did myself of Buffy. I'd have to say I'm more of a fan then my friend who recommended it.

I can't really see there being a whole lot of Dollhouse figures but I wouldn't mind having an Echo one.

Ok, I know this isn't about Buffy but it is about Vampire's and sex so I guess this is the right place to put it.
Edward in twilight is freezing cold. Is having sex with him like having sex with a popsicle?
