I heard "You shouldn't have dumped Trish." That's probably not what he said though.

Which look on Buffy's face? The one after the "brain-fry" panel, where Willow says "she's gone". Buffy's face looks she's in disbelief, confused, and worried. Might mean nothing, but I think it means something, especially after Buffy's talk with Giles.

The Gift. Perfectly sums up the show.
Not Fade Away is still amazing though, nearly perfect. It's a better episode than Chosen.

SPOILERS for the final two episodes.
Wow, wow, wow! That was incredible. All the twists and turns, this was so dark and twisted. Everything was just one, big lie and it was handled amazingly. Henry was truly terrifying, so evil. The scene where he killed Trish was so disturbing, felt terrible for her. And then the whole thing with Abby during the last part was insanely creepy. I was shocked she actually killed him. Always thought she was a boring character, but she did a complete 180 these final two episodes. I'm glad there was a semi-happy ending after all the pain, gave the series a nice closure. And that last montage was depressing, they were all so happy and died for no reason.
The show was 13 episodes long, but it's weird thinking of where it started to where it ended. These last 5-6 episodes have been so good, compared to the terribly hilarious beginning. The show became something special. Actually considering buying the DVD set.

Yeah, I think they originally wanted it out around Halloween this year, but there was no way it could compete with Saw and win, so they pushed it back. Hopefully the wait won't be that bad.

The screaming had stopped after a few minutes, and curiousity got the better of Chris. He had to know what had just happened. The nurses get lazy sometimes with strapping patients in, so after breaking a sweat and probably a few blood vessels in his head, Chris managed to get his right hand free. After un-doing the three others, he jumped out of the bed and ran over to the door. Without thinking, he grabbed the handle... locked. He stepped on his tippy-toes to get the full view out of the door window, but could barely see anything because of the blood. Letting his eyes adjust for a minute, he realized something else was blocking his view, a human's face... or at least a human with a part of a face, staring right at him. What was left of the features, Chris could tell it was his friend Chunky.
"That is so... cool. Hey! Hey Chunky, you got the key?" There was no response. "I bet the scar will look cool." Still nothing. Instead, Chunky just started banging on the door, moaning. "Yeah, you know, that's really weird and even with the lotta extra baggage you got, that won't do the trick. So you can stop. Now." He didn't.
Chris new something was off. He walked over to the window across the room, and looked at the street past the field and gate. It seemed like there was a parade of police cars and ambulances, some people on the street running and screaming, others just walking around aimlessly. He wondered if he could break the window.

I was so bored today and randomly picked up Go Ask Malice and just read the whole thing in one sit down, I think it's the fourth time I've done that. You just can't stop, such a beautiful and dark story, those final 50 or so pages where everything comes together is breathtaking. So yeah, I think it takes the cake as the best Buffy book. (The Wisdom of War, The Gatekeeper Trilogy, Dark Congress, and Spike & Dru are also top notch)

Let's just hope that none of the actors age drastically if the show continues for years. Or maybe a future season could just jump forward, because I'd love to see the story expand.

I really love that he used Dichen as a reference for her. It'll be a lot easier to come up with a voice while you read.

I notice they've done away with the usual Page One format here... the black page with the title and credits and the single panel at the bottom. Must be they had too much story to waste that much real estate in this issue. Not sure if they got rid of it. Some of the previews haven't always started with the first page, or we get it later on. I remember the first Swell preview we got started with Kennedy dropping down after zapping the "oh crap" demon. It'd suck if they got rid of it. I always thought the first page was pointless and was a waste of a page (why not put the credits on the inside cover?), but it'd be annoying if they just got rid of it more than halfway through.

I love that we are getting an Oz flashback, can't wait to catch up with him. I just hope that it'll be a small part of the entire comic, want more story!

That sounds cool. There can be any number of meanings for that word and the Dollhouse.

This was very difficult! I just had to keep narrowing them down and reread them all. All of these were awesome! Short... but deep, scary, and funny. Poor Master. He looks so sad and shocked in that picture because no one wrote anything about him. I feel bad now.

I'd say it's possible (and I hope so), but it looks like it's just for the Fallen Angel crossover. And Kelly Armstrong wasn't there when they announced she was doing Aftermath last year.

I love you Emmie.
And cool! So we should be seeing Carnevale's cover in the next few days, right? Not familar with his work though. Adam Hughes! Such an amazing artist! Didn't he do the Once More With Feeling poster? Can't wait to see both!

I think Jon Foster's covers are very underrated. His #11, #12 and #14 are three of my favorites out of every cover. If he doesn't come back, I think Brian Horton would be a great choice. He did the covers for the last few arcs of the old Buffy series. Very beautiful and fits with Jo's style.

Haha, what the hell. I'm bored. 1. Is Willow going to go dark again at the end of the season?Yeah, I'll think she'll come back for an issue or two. It seems like her story could be heading in that direction. Buffy vs. Twilight vs. Dark Willow... that's something I'd like to see. 2. Are Willow and Buffy going to drift apart?Yeah definitely. Hopefully not for too long though. 3. What role is Oz going to play exactly?I'm leaning towards him helping out Willow and the Slayers, show that they can control the magic and their demon sides, but then all hell is going to break lose at the end of the arc and Oz will be a casualty. 4. Are Willow and Kennedy break up because of Oz?Not at all. Maybe some tension, but I think we're way past Willow and Oz. 5. Who the hell is Twilight?I'm clueless. Leaning towards Ethan though. Or Hank. 6. Are Xander and Dawn going to end up together? They have been spending a lot of time together and have made lots of dirty jokes. After the knocking thing and the "double-meaning" AndrewCrossett posted about, I won't be surprised if they do. 7. Are we going to see the end of magic? No. There will be a Season 9, right? So unless they do something crazy, like having it take place in another dimension, then no. 8. Is Andrew of any interest for Twilight?Unless Twilight loves Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, James Bond, etc. 9. Who's going to betray Buffy eventually?Buffy. Herself. No one else makes sense to me since we saw that part in Anywhere But Here. 10. Is there anything more that can happen between Buffy and Satsu? The sexual part of their relationship seemed like it ended in Wolves at the Gate, and Satsu got over her in Swell. I can't see anything else happening besides being good friends. 11. Is the scythe spell going to be reversed? It could, but the scene in Chosen is just so perfect and gave the television series a perfect end. So I hope it stays intact. Maybe Slayers stop being in squads and just live their lives. 12. What's in store for Amy and Warren? They will both die. Killed by Twilight. But my fantasy is that Amy finds out Twilight's ultimate plan, reverses the spell keeping Warren alive, goes to help Buffy and Co., and then off to be rehabilitated ala Willow Season 7. Amy deserves it. 13. On which side exactly is Riley playing now?Hope he'll help Buffy in the end, but I think for now he is on Twilight's side. There just better be a good reason why, because I can't see Captain America aiding in killing these girls.
