Incredible!
One of the most depressing things I've ever read, and loved every second of it. It's great to see Gunn get this much attention. His thoughts throughout the issue and reaction to Non's healing him was heartbreaking. The fact that he didn't want to wake and would rather just have "closure" just depressed the hell out of me. It's shocking to see what has happened to a once great man, and now he is that man again, but just doesn't feel like it. Amazing stuff.
What Gunn is going through matches up perfectly with what Illyria is going through. Both of their struggles are great and the final two pages were perfect. I must read Only Human now, love the idea of their journey for humanity. I loved the hilarious twist with Non and the Kenny stuff was classic!

This was great!
I just love that everyone was brought together. That one page where everyone said their hellos with that panel of Buffy hugging Giles was perfect. It took 26 issues, but it finally happened, and I'm hoping that there will be some great group dynamic interaction in future issues.
Magic, magic, magic. I love the concern about Willow's use of it. So cool that it was Giles Buffy went to about what she experienced during Time or Your Life, going to him for advice... I've missed that. The two pages between them were the best of the issue, felt like old times. I can't wait for all the tension between them and Willow. So she skinned that demon alive? While not being evil? That is very worrisome. The "brain-fry" part was creepy as hell, and even though they were under attack, the lack of emotion that came from Willow was just weird.
The Andrew/Warren reunion didn't go the way I expected, but it was still pretty cool. But yeah, another big plot hole with The First thing, makes zero sense and it took me right out of the scene. I did like that Warren didn't finish. Now we don't know what "the proposal" was and if Andrew would of gone with it or not. The battle scene was pretty epic, but also kind of messy. Some of the panels and lettering seemed weird, got confused a couple times, but the actual art was great. The last page was brilliant, totally Oz.
Really, really beyond excited to see where this arc goes.

Interesting that Caleb has appeared once again in Season 8. And we get that creepy scene of Buffy getting beat down in that weird stone walled room. I think there is more to this. I'm wondering why we keep getting all of these Caleb/Twilight hints. We got three in A Beautiful Sunset: the panel with him, "always crying, just like a woman", and "knowing" the let-me-stab-your-crotch-move. Now we have him appearing in a version of the betrayal. I don't think he is Twilight, because that'd be stupid. But it's just weird.

I have a Xbox 360, but I'd rather play a PS3. I only got a 360 simply for the exclusive Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC... which was cool, but wasn't worth it. The PS3 is just full of great stuff I want: Blu-Ray, free online and better exclusives. I still hope I can get one sometime. But still, nothing can beat the N64 as the best system of all time.

Hahaha! Wow, that was amazing. Three pages long but worth the long wait. Loved all the cameos on the last page, but I agree that it seems like there is a bunch of deep, foreshadowing buried beneath all the humor, especially the part with Willow and Dark Willow sitting together... creepy. But it was nice to see Spike and Angel again, even if.... yeah. "What the slashy heck" is classic. And Tara.
Oh Buffy's brain.

For those of you that read the Buffy books, does it help to read them in order, or not? No, not at all. Some of the Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder books reference events that happened in others, but all the books are self-contained.

Whoa, can you guys link me? I know I had that bookmarked somewhere but it must've got eaten by the other bookmarks. Wednesday is a loooong day at school for me. Same with Thursday. I probably won't be getting the issue til Friday. I've waited this long, I think I can hold on... www.myspace.com/darkhorsepresents Wednesday is going to be the best comic day in a long time. Finally we can start fresh with both Buffy and Angel after these last not-so-great-even-downright-terrible months.

I'm perfectly fine with my controller. When I play video games it's mostly because I'm lazy and don't feel like doing anything. It's why I don't like the Wii. All this new, expensive, move-around-ness technology just makes me angry, stuff gets broken. This is very cool for people who like the stuff, but I think it defeats the purpose of playing video games.

It was a perfect popcorn movie because it was just giant robots kicking each other's asses and blowing stuff up, but I didn't expect that to be the entire movie. Along with that, I wanted a story and character development, both of which were completely absent. The first movie balanced all three of those. There was a story, but it was just so uneven and plot holes galore. It probably made up 15 minutes of the movie.

Well, I seen it today and I quite liked it. I liked the humour and the action. Maybe I'm just really childish or something, I'm not sure, but I very much enjoyed Transformers 2 Not that case, I was a little harsh. Probably just different tastes. I almost 100% agree with Ethan. I thought Megan Fox was good and Shia was very good, but that the movie itself was terrible. Thinnest plot, and simply the longest montage of shit blowing up that I've ever seen. The emotional and funny moments were contrived and fell flat every time, without fail. And Transformer heaven , seriously? What do you give it out of 10? The only part of the movie I thought was superb was when Sam and Mikaela were hiding out in that house thingy and the camera just stayed on Mikaela, the fear was real and the sound/shadows were perfect. I wish the movie did more stuff like that.

Those are incredible! I agree this should be a future Coverama contest. *nudges Ethan* You kinda have the power to start that, you know. If you don't want the workload, I'll make the threads and you just gotta send the mass-pm. Sound cool? Think this would be Wyndam's deal, the Coverama is his baby. I bet a Season 8 poster will be an upcoming challenge after the current one or whatever else he has planned next.

R.I.P.
I loved his infomercials, the only ones that didn't annoy me. I think he was on The Tonight Show just last Monday. Very sad.

I really hope the next writer cuts out Dex and that Angeldude. I really hope for this aswell. I had all intentions of reading the five issues, but I still haven't read the last two, and I'm not planning on it since they are probably gone by now. Just couldn't continue to spend the money on something that I hated and could barely read. I'd hate if these two random, pointless characters continued to be part of the story. They just don't belong in the Buffyverse. An actual angel in Angel? You have to be kidding me. I wouldn't complain if this entire arc was ignored and just starts up again from where Brian leaves off in #27.

Bwahaha! Those were great Pat!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Update:
2009 Movie Scorecard: Best to Least Best
01. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: 9/10 02. Up: 9/10 03. Star Trek: 9/10 04. The Hangover: 9/10 05. Drag Me to Hell: 9/10 06. Gran Torino: 9/10 07. Slumdog Millionaire: 8/10 08. Watchmen: 8/10 09. Terminator Salvation: 7/10 10. The Taking of Pelham 123: 4/10 11. Knowing: 3/10 12. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: 2/10
Dreadful, just absolutely terrible. Now I loved Transformers, I gave that film an 8/10, but this was just horrible! The only reason why it got a 2 was because of the special effects, which were exceptional. I have nothing to say about the acting besides it sucked. When the best performance is by Megan Fox, something is wrong. None of the characters are likeable. The comedy is so childish and immature it was sickening. When it tried to be dramatic it just failed on every level imaginable. Even the action sucked, there was nothing special about it, just over long running and explosions. The story was stupid, flowed weirdly and treated us like we were idiots. Events happened for no reason at all and then were never explained. The movie is two and half hours and I'm pretty sure less than 30 minutes of it mattered.
It's like everything that was good about Transformers was removed from this film. The characters acted like actual people and weren't caricatures. Some of the best characters from the first film, like the soldiers, had about 10 lines. You also cared about the Autobots, here they did nothing but fight and make stupid jokes, Bumblebee was the only one that mattered. There was some pretty deep humans/Autobots interaction and morals that were mentioned, and if they went that route it could have been amazing. The climax was also one of the most annoying things I've ever seen.
One of the worst movies I have ever seen in theaters.

Andrew is most definitely going to die I bet. I was thinking he'd be the one to kill Warren, overcome him, but Predators & Prey basically screamed "love this character because we are killing him soon".
Leah and Rowena just seem like "cannon fodder", even though Leah is too cool to die.
I could see Twilight killing Amy and Warren. We know he likes to sacrifice people who work with him.
