I don't know man, the style looks just like Runge's from Angel #14. Maybe it's because I saw it person, or maybe I'm just wrong, but it looks very very Runge to me.

I doubt they'd make her both a slayer and a cat-changer, though.

There is also a Nick Runge cover with the battle angel, Angel, Gwen, and not sure who else, ready to charge into battle with some unseen foes.

WAIT A MINUTE! Aftermath isnt considered canon? WTF? When did this happen? It didn't happen. Kelley said the story counts, Kelley said Joss approves. The people who are saying it's not canon are arguing that "By Joss, she means Joss's offices, which approved everything." I don't agree.

I'm sure they'll be put out, collected versions always come out. I saw a solicit that looked pretty official on Amazon.com for a "Smile Time" hardcover that featured Smile Time, Masks, and Shadow Puppets. That would be cool.

That's referring to how Oz has to hide his inner (true?) self, the wolf. is that a fact or a theory? Because "restless" is the most ambiguous buffy episode ever and joss is surely the only one to know any meaning behind that bit of dialogue. It's not something Joss ever came out and said, but I think it's fairly obvious, personally. Joss isn't the kind of guy to foreshadow Oz being gay in Season Four and then reveal it in a Season Eight comic he didn't know he was doing at the time. It was definitely about the wolf.

Yeah, if Andrew and Warren never see each other, then Warren was truly brought back for nothing. They will, though, thye have to.

This is my favorite of Chen's in the "Predators and Prey" arc, other than #25 obviously, as there is no beating that. I just liked it when I orginally saw it, but when I saw the huge huge huge poster of it over at Comic Con, I could really see how amazing it was.

Yes it is after After the Fall, and yes, Spike is leaving the main Angel series. Nah, that sounds too final. Brian said on Whedonesque that both characters will still play parts in each other's book.

I think the problem isn't that he doesn't care about Season 8, but that he cares too much and is adding even more pressure to his already overly full plate with Dollhouse by worrying about Season 8. Both are projects he's completely in control of creatively. Agreed. Joss does great interviews, and this is no exception. The albatross quote just means that it's harder and more time consuming than he expected to be, nothing else. Joss is great because Joss admits when he is struggling, but he never dwells on it or moans about it like authors such as Laurell K. Hamilton. Joss is very much the man.

Theme song is deathly boring. I figure it'll grow on us as we watch, but it isn't instantly interesting the way Firefly's was, nor as epic and brooding as Angel's, nor as iconic as Buffy's. We'll see.

Don't call it cheap unless you've seen it. It's all about the context, and it works perfectly.

Swell is way better, I think. Harmonic Divergence was awkwardly written, but Swell flowed nicely.

You're missing something.
People buy the issues for sure, as Smile Time #1 sold out. Comic companies have been adapting movies for decades, and people have been buying them for just as long. For those that don't care about adaptations, though, there are even brand new scenes thrown in. Angel and Spike have a particularly cool exchange in #1 that was never in the episode.
