Yeah, and? Last I checked, Non and Jeremy are on the cover of Angel: After the Fall #17 and they haven't been in the main "A:AtF" title--the title that some purists here say is the only one they accept. The cover is very relevant to #17 in ways that no one will expect. You'll see.

I don't know, dude, it's on the book. I've had books lie to me before, but most of those are written by Republicans.

"Tales" aren't a spin-off, they have the Buffy title right on the spine. They're like a... since we always compare these to television... Buffy TV special.

Aftermath isn't just about the consequences of After the Fall, seeing as the majority of players other than Angel, Connor, and Gwen have small if any roles. Aftermath is very very much its own story. It has warrior angels and cat changers, man!

Brian clarified in a video interview that the Gunn issue is separate.

I thought that might have been for #3, but it would make sense, as the last issue had two covers also. A regular and an incentive. But anyway, so glad this is out the 18th. That means we get a Buffyverse comic every week this month. Buffy, Angel, Angel, Angel. Also, the Spike HC is out this month too, eh?

Hm, yeah, I'm fuzzy about the Gunn thing now. Could be an entire issue, though I really didn't think it was.

Yeah, that would be ideal. It would be a stacked TPB, though, what with the two extra DHP tie-in stories as extras as well.

I'm sneaky...I have sneaky admin ways. Haha. Actually I have it, but I never had permission to post it up. It's not in high res though. I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem if you did. A low-res version is out, and they released it at Comic Con, so everyone has already seen the low qual version.

Phil, how did you get that great looking version of the cover for the thumbnail?

It looks like the cast of 30 Rock in the screen over Buffy's right shoulder.

Nicholas, that's not what Tie is saying. Just because they're aware of vampires doesn't mean they're against them. They know Angel is a vampire, and they know he just saved them. It's also fair to assume they don't know the specifics of Angel and Spike, that they have souls, as they aren't personal friends. So how are they to tell what vampires are good and bad? I doubt that LA as a whole is against vampires.

Good news ... the miniseries is canon? Pat, if you read this, I read on your blog that Urru was doing the art, is that 100% definitely true? Just want to make sure before I update the first post. It's in the notes I took, so I'm assuming so. I unfortunately don't think I have a graphic to back it up, but this was mentioned before the Spike series announcement, so I don't think that could have possibly got confused, as they're on completely different pages. I'd say throw it on the front page.

Also just noticed that the Gunn series is actually supposed to bridge the time between AtF and Aftermath rather than come post-Aftermath as I've quoted you as saying (according to Pat, unless I misunderstood that info). It was said that the Gunn thing would be explained in an issue, maybe one of the Drusilla centric ones. I'm guessing it'll be a page worth, or even just a line to explain what happened. Don't know the specifics as of yet, but it wasn't implied that it would be a bridging issue.

There was no mention of Illyria being in the Spike series, Ben.
She'll be in "Fallen Angel: Reborn" for four issues, and yeah, that does take place in Season Five, post-"Time Bomb."

I don't like the whole bleeping curse words thing. If they can't say 'em, don't use 'em. On the show, they didn't go South Park and make with the bleeps.

Oh, and little update on the covers. Not all of Franco's have both sides. The regular version only has the "heroes" section. The incentive stretches around back for a cover spread of the heroes and villains.
