This is one of my favorite shows on TV. Season 2, in particular, is one of the best seasons of any show around. Season 3 just ended, and although it had some issues, I still enjoyed it overall.
Katey Sagal really deserved an Emmy nod for her work in Season 2.

I'm always looking to check out some good UK shows, and this one sounds pretty great. Thanks for the recommendation!

I'll be checking it out. I really liked the first season of the BBC show, and I still need to pick up Season 2 on Blu-Ray.
If it sucks though, it will be no skin off my back. I am excited that Mark Pellegrino will be on the show though.

I have a friend that's a Biology major so she and her classmates have been going nuts about this all week. It will be interesting to see how this develops over the years. Learning that alien life (or life on Earth) could potentially exist without phosphorous is just really excited stuff.

Wesley was never given an age but if he was close in age to Alexis then he was ~32 in Buffy Season 3 and ~38 at the time of his death. Probably a bit younger than Alexis, as I imagine Watcher's were more experienced by 32, and Wesley certainly was not. I'd guess ~36 at the time of his death.
Gunn's age was never confirmed until Season 3's "Double or Nothing" where we learn he traded his soul for his truck seven years prior when he was 17. So he was 26 at the end of the series (21 at the start).
Cordelia's age is easy, as she shares the same age as Buffy, Xander and Willow: 16 in Buffy Season 1 and 23 at the time of her death.
Fred was sucked into Pylea in May of 1996, when she was in Graduate school. It's unclear if she was beginning graduate school, in the middle of or end of it, so she was between 21-23. So at the time of her death she was between 29-31, unless of course she progressed through school at a quicker rate than normal people.
I actually think I've done a post exactly like this one before...

Willow looks like she should be in a rap video, and Faith looks like Rizzo from Grease. Buffy looks pretty decent though.

Hmmm, Mooney's Blog says this is for 41.. Could be 42, though, he just says an "Upcoming Issue" , but the link says 41. Its looks like a finale cover though... God I could marry that cover.

Can't wait for this reunion. Spike and Willow always had an interesting relationship, and since Season 8 is so busy, it will be nice for Spike to have some extended interaction with an old Scoobie. And it's always nice to have a Mooney pop-in at SlayAlive!

I was wondering that myself. Maybe the digital team just really enjoyed animating it?

There's a lot of speculation that Merle might end up becoming the Governor. Kirkman already kind of debunked that though. I'd rather see Merle redeem himself, or at least become less crazy, as that is always more fun.
Hopefully he and Daryl stick around for season 2, especially Daryl has his character has been much more realized than Merle's.

I don't think Andrea was made older for any reason other than to allow Laurie Holden to play the part (she's a frequent Darabont collaborator). Any worries I had about an older Andrea were dashed pretty quickly anyway, as Holden delivers such strong work in episodes 4 and 5.
Also, AMC does not mainstream. They do whatever is best for the show, not mass appeal. AMC isn't a network that goes for high ratings, as The Walking Dead is their first real hit (and an unpredictable show going in, ratings wise). Sure Mad Men and Breaking Bad are critical darlings (for good reason), and get decent ratings for cable, but TWD shows the network can set the bar a bit higher for rating potential.
The show is very different from the comic, as it should be. As a massive fan of the comic, I'd have been disappointed if the show was a carbon copy with minor differences. So far, the differences are working for me, more than I imagined they would going in.
And like HH said, after Episode 2 (which was my least favorite episode so far, although I enjoyed it tremendously), the show delivers on every front (and even humanizes Merle).

Is there anywhere I can watch this online? I watched the pilot on Hulu, but it seems to have been taken down, and no additional eps have been added. AMC is doing a marathon of the first 5 eps this Sunday before the finale. blogs.amctv.com/the-walking-dead/2010/11/full-season-marathon.phpSo if you don't plan on moving for 6.5 hours you could do that. Or record them. Was anyone else reminded of how Desmond in LOST was introduced? This new, science-lab guy was introduced in the same format, and whatnot; Just all of a sudden. Not that it's bad in any way, I was just wondering. Ha, I mentioned exactly that in my review for "Wildfire" on my blog. Nice to see I wasn't the only one that caught the similarities.

I believe Torchwood is using freelance writers for its upcoming season on Starz. Maybe it is becoming more popular?
I do think the show needs at least a small writing staff, but since Darabont handled so much of this season they may not need it. Guess we'll see when Season 2 starts!

Hopefully she's saving her best for the HC's. Not that it excuses some sloppiness on this one though, but I don't even buy the TPB's.

Only three issues with tonights episode:
1. Emma rushing into another marriage. It is clear that Carl is good for her, but damn.
2. The Warblers and that school have to be the most lifeless bunch of people I've ever seen. Give them some character or get Kurt outta there (he looked really awkward up on stage too).
3. Kurt has got to stop all this smiling or his face will forever be frozen with that horrible waxen look. Grin some instead.
Other than that, aces. Loved all the drama and Britney's scenes with Artie were pure gold.
The club's performance was just fantastic, and the Hipster's needed more screen time. They were rocking some socks.
What's her name, the wrestler, is awesome. I'm glad they finally realized she needed more screen time. Tina looked great at the end too.

Unfortunately no. When a HDD is taken from one PS3 and put in another, it is automatically formatted (erased) before it is usable in that PS3.
