Everyone is suspecting me *sits in a corner and cries* I don't want to die! I shall come back and haunt all of you, I swear. This is just cruel Agreed! I think there's no point even trying to defend you. Worldofshrimps backed an evildoer yesterday. Unless he can go back in time and change that, he's pretty much a done deal.

Meliafairy and myself talked about it for about and hour, then I just looked up and verified everything.

I've given up on this one. Making Riley look good was too much for me; however, in thinking of my favorite (not necessarily good for him) Riley moments I've thought of a new banner to make for myself.
I look forward to seeing what everyone made.

1. In "Transformers," there was this giant battle in the middle of downtown Los Angeles -- excuse me, Mission City -- that was witnessed by thousands of people at the very least. But somehow the government was able to cover up the whole thing, and now the existence of alien robots is just an internet rumor? How did they do it? Pay off everyone who was there and quickly fix millions of dollars in damage? Also, didn't Keller (Jon Voight) go on TV and tell everyone we were being attacked by "a technological civilization far superior to our own"? How did they spin that? - By far the most legitimate point in my opinion. We, as forgiving viewers, could say that all people saw were a bunch of military guys and machines fighting in the city. They “could” have been manned machines. They didn’t have big bumper stickers that said “I a Member of an Alien Race. Ask me how.” Plus, we all believed in the moon landing because the government said it was real.2. There are two pieces of the Allspark cube left: the military has one under lock and key, and Sam discovers another. The Decepticons steal one and bring Megatron back to life. But when Sam (Shia LaBeouf) wants to bring back Optimus, he has to find the Matrix of Leadership on the other side of the globe. Why not use the other piece? Mikaela (Megan Fox) has it in her backpack the whole time. It brought his kitchen appliances to life, why can't it do the same for Optimus? - That piece that is supposedly in Mikela’s backpack the whole time was used on Jetfire, and no longer available after that point.3. Speaking of Megatron's rebirth, when the Decepticons venture deep into the ocean to revive him, the Navy crew tracking them reads five contacts. When they get down there, they tear apart one of the robots for parts to rebuild Megatron. Then as they rise to the surface, the same Navy guys say they spot six contacts. The little "Doctor" robot popped out down there, but he's about a third of the size of a person. Would he have shown up on sonar? - The crappy sonar device on my grandfather’s boat can pick up fish so small that they aren’t even worth trying to catch. Given that, I think military level sonar placed on a vessel that is sitting in place for the purpose detecting underwater movement can handle finding the doctor transformer.4. That reminds me: even if I were to forgive the Doctor's German accent -- and director Michael Bay is asking me to forgive a lot of ridiculous accents -- why would a robot need glasses? He has little lenses that flip in front of his mechanical eyes. Couldn't he just get his eyes adjusted? You'd think with all the laser guns, someone could perform a Lasik procedure. - As far as the accents, the doctor transformer having and German accent is just as ridiculous as Optimus having an American accent. Why stop there? How about we go on about how ridiculous it is that an alien race speaks English. As far as the glasses, the transformers are to have characterization, and the glasses are a part of that for that one. Why does Bumblebee have little wings sticking out of his back when they could get in the way? Why does Optimus have a retractable sword instead of just having a sword arm?5. Apparently, Transformers can look like people now. How? And how is it that even though the robo-girl (Isabel Lucas) is made of metal, she can still straddle Sam without crushing him. And if Bumblebee knows something's wrong with her, why does he spit antifreeze at her instead of telling Sam? Yes, his voicebox is broken, but wasn't it fixed at the end of the last movie?
- Meliafairy pretty much covered this one. This link has more information on the Pretenders, as well as a section explaining the one in the movie: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretenders_(Transformers). About Bumblebee’s voice box, they say it’s still broken at the beginning. Not knowing these things is what happens when you don’t actually watch the movie.6. The Fallen is the last of the Primes, since they all sacrificed themselves to stop him from destroying the sun. But then he says that Optimus is a descendant of the Primes. First, Transformers have kids? And second, how could he descend from them if they were all dead? And if the Fallen could only be destroyed by a Prime, why didn't the originals just gang up on him back in the day? And what makes Optimus so special, anyway? Megatron beat him earlier, but all it takes is a few spare parts from creaky old Jetfire for him to take out the Fallen? - First off, Transformers can have kids. They aren’t just some robots that people make, program, and send out. They are a procreating, evolving, alien species that have a biological structure of metal. Second, I know plenty of people that procreated before death. That is kinda how it is usually done. Why didn’t they gang up on him? I wouldn’t be too keen on fighting the guy one guy that can destroy me. Megatron did beat him up earlier with help. They pretty much had to corner and gang-bang him. And now on to Jetfire and his parts. He may have been old, but he gave Optimus and array of ranged weapons and the ability to freaking fly. Also, the name when they are mixed is JetOptimus, which is from the Transformers: Armada animated series and is pretty badass from all accounts.7. Sam, Mikaela, and Simmons (John Turturro) go to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. to find Jetfire. Then they walk out the back onto a wide open field with old planes and mountains in the distance. When did the National Mall start to look so much like to Tucson, AZ (where they really filmed that scene)? - Meliafairy also covered this one. They used the Air and Space annex: The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.8. The geography is just as bad when they go to Egypt. The stone city of Petra in Jordan is over 250 miles away, over mountainous terrain, with few paved roads and the Israeli border between them, so how can they drive from one to the other in a couple of hours. And the Pyramids are said to be shooting distance from the Mediterranean, but they are actually well over 80 miles inland. Even if the Navy ship had a secret rail gun, and even if the captain would take an order to fire from a former agent of a government branch that no longer exists (over a walkie-talkie that inexplicably starts working again), how could it hit a moving target from that distance? - I think a rail gun could handle the distance.
Taken from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_gun : “On January 31, 2008 the US Navy tested a railgun; it fired a shell at 2520 m/s with an energy of 10.64 MJ.[15] Its expected performance is over 5.8 km/s muzzle velocity, accurate enough to hit a 5 meter target from 200 nautical miles (370 km) away while shooting at 10 shots per minute. It is expected to be ready in 2020 to 2025.”
As far as the captain taking the command to fire from the former agent, we as forgiving viewer that don’t want our cool fight scenes interrupted with boring fact checking by the characters can assume the following happened: Captain attempts the verify the identity of the man identifying himself as a Sector 7 agent. Sector 7 no longer exists, so he is forwarded to the agency that took over Sector 7’s jurisdiction. They then give the go to help out
9. Sam briefly dies and goes to Robot Heaven. Robot Heaven?!?! - As Meliafairy said: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_of_Leadership 10. Where does Sam's bandage come from? What about his extra sock? Why does Sam's roommate not contribute anything at all? What was the Fallen doing for those thousands of years Megatron was frozen in ice? How does one satellite receive transmissions from everywhere on the planet? Why does Wheelie hump Mikaela's leg? Why do we have to see John Turturro's thong? Why are robots who join together to become Devastator also seen fighting the Army at the same time? Why does the government want only our military fighting Decepticons when our weapons seem unable to make so much as a dent on any of them? Why did the ancient Egyptians build a pyramid around the sun-destroying machines instead of just breaking it? Why is the Matrix of Leadership bigger in the Fallen's hand than in Sam's? And how do Mikaela's pants stay so clean? - Not even gonna bother answering these. This movie was fiction. Next time you head into a movie about and alien, robot race, don’t expect anything else.

It does seem frightfully quiet I noticed that yesterday. I voted for Shivi because of the following evidence: Day 1: Shivi votes for Nicholas the Seer. Day 2: Shivi votes for Nicholas the Seer. Day 3: Shivi his among the crowd. While two others fit into the same evil glove, Shivi is the one common suspect pointed out in others’ speculations. Hence, the most solidified evidence possible within this not so solid interverse.

I don't really get where you're getting Shivi being a warlock from but in all honesty, for me, everyone is a suspect due to the fact that I have no idea who to vote for at the minute. In my view, however, just through reading this page again, zorthrip seems quite keen to get rid of anyone who is voting against him...so, for now, and this is liable to change... Official Vote: zorthripI'm not keen on getting rid of who is voting against me. So far, the only two people to do so are dragonweaver (a confirmed witch/warlock) and you (who is not one of my prime suspects). I was just attempting to take a more active roll in the identifying of witches and warlocks since we actually have a decent amount of information to work with. If that brings suspicion on me, so be it.

I think looking at all the rounds together is best, honestly. So far the only common name people have all mentioned so far today is Shivi. That's just because it yielded your name too, Zorthrip. But I do concur, Shivi has been brought up with the most consistency today. You can yield my name all you want. I'll still say that the big picture tells you more than the pieces taken alone. Unless someone comes up with a better idea, Official Vote: ShiviEdit - I agree that looking at the ones that voted for neither Nicholas nor Secret Scoobie should be done. Same goes if anyone changed their vote from Nicholas near the end.

I am going over round 2, as I think it will yield more results in the witch hunt than round 1 which was a free-for-all guessing game and round 3 which was for the most part one sided. I think looking at all the rounds together is best, honestly. So far the only common name people have all mentioned so far today is Shivi.

I'm thinking Evilwillowrocker, Secret Scoobie, Dragonweaver, Just Willow, Iceeh maybe? Not accusing these people. I just thought it interesting that these accusations are all correct so far, no matter how random they were. First Day Voting Results (includes unofficial votes and vote changes cast past the deadline) worldofshrimps-------------Rebecca iamthewalrus---------------CBG lurchibald------------------mathieu hitnrun017-----------------mathieu Midnight Butterfly----------Tabularasa Rebecca-------------------CBG Wyndam-------------------mathieu dragonweaver--------------zorthrip Nicholas-------------------Secret Scoobie Just Willow----------------mathieu Evilwillowrocker------------Nicholas sagewoman----------------Shivi meliafairy------------------CBG The Night Lord-------------Mathieu zorthrip--------------------Iamthewalrus Iceeh----------------------Mathieu Secret Scoobie------------CBG Mathieu-------------------CBG Alexiness------------------CBG gumgnome-----------------hitnrun017 Benny the Key-------------Mathieu Shivi-----------------------Nicholas tabluarasa-----------------CBG parabola-------------------worldofshrimps CBG-----------------------hitnrun017 Compared to Wyndam's list of who voted for Nicholas: worldofshrimps luchibald The Night Lord Alexiness Shivi tabularasa Alexiness, Shivi, and tabularasa are the ones that voted for confirmed villagers or seers. I'm not sure if all or any of them are witches/warlocks, but I thought this might get the debate going and would give a good starting place. Side Note - Apparently I've been voted for twice, both times by dragonweaver. My life is fairly bleak knowing a rat wants me dead. *Goes to cut more wood and sulk*

I will not vote for someone on the basis that they didn't believe Nicholas was a seer. I figured he was a witch or villager, because what better way to stay alive than have villagers think you are a seer. Also, no smart seer would proclaim that as what they are when witches are about unless they wanted death and/or could present the full list of witches before their demise. Those that voted for Nicholas could have been mistaken villagers such as myself. Also, I think the witches would have been smart enough to not all vote together once they realized Secret Scoobie was a goner.
However, now that Nicholas is confirmed as having been a seer and pointed to dragonweaver, I must honor the dead psychic's wishes since it was my wood we used to set him ablaze.
After this though, just claiming someone is a witch because they voted for Nicholas will not be enough to earn my vote.
Official Vote: Dragonweaver
I would be glad to hear a defense from you, dragonweaver, but it's gonna be difficult arguing with a dead man.
*edit* I'm off to cut more wood.
