I enjoyed this one a lot. It was very in character, and fit him well. It was very fun and true to the mayor's personality.

I felt as if I read two half drabbles rather that one drabble. Also, I made the mistake of reading the piece before the notes, and didn't realized it was Dru with Spike until he called her by name. "Spikey" kept me thinking of Harmony calling him "Spikey-poo." I remember Dru using pet names such as "my dearest Spike" or "my pet." Just seemed out of character for me. I could see how it might have been better with all over 300 words.

I love the darkness in this one. It's dark like evil should be. Well written and enjoyable.

First off, nitpicking point, I don't remember holy water burning Caleb. It does add nicely to the piece either way. I really like this piece, and could easily envision Caleb in this scene. It fits very well.

I was confused when reading this, and not in the good Drusilla confused way.
If I'm not mistaken, Drusilla is killing Amy and Warren in order to get Spike back (which I don't know if actually happened, since I'm only on issue 10). I was pretty sure the Spike and Dru were both pretty settled on wanting nothing to do with one another after Spike tied her up to stake her.

I think you got Glory's voice perfectly. It was a lot of fun to read.
I got a little side tracked by the "v" alliteration because I kept thinking of the monologue at the beginning of V for Vendetta, but that's my own issue and not one of the pieces'.
Bravo!

It was kinda cute and funny, but I don't think it goes along with the prompt.
Illyria was really only a villain up until she discovered she could raise her army and take over that world, which I think lasted one episode.

I ended up having to read this a few times to straighten out with part was thought by whom.
I liked some of the phrasing used, but I felt that the pieced lacked emotion.

I think you captured The First's point of view well here. I'm not so sure all the anger and exclamation points in the middle fit him though. I've always thought of The First as someone that doesn't get angry at obstacles, but instead sees them as slight bumps in the road that is eternity.

As the people above have said, you did a great job of capturing his feelings toward Buffy.
I agree with Secret Scoobie about the last line though. It did seem a little off. He always was the alpha in their coterie, and I think it wasn't so much that they welcomed him back so much as it was him showing up and telling them to step in line and suck it up.

I like Warren because he is was pushed over into the realm of evil because of his way of overcompensating for his insecurities. I think it could have been a little less calculating, and a little more reactionary. I feel he was pissed and thinking things like, "That little bitch can't top me. I'm the boss and I'll show her who's the man! Put a hole in her and stick that bag of piss in the ground"

I liked this one, and like that moment of change in the character.
I personally, however, feel that Angelus would have much different feelings toward Buffy in that moment. I don't feel you fully captured his revulsion and hatred toward the girl that made him feel those putrid feelings of love and caring.

This drabble is suggestive and wicked. Love it. But isn't Benediction from season 3? I assume you mean Redefinition. I'm fine with the no-crazyness, Dru's feeling and mood could be told without it. After all, the drabble isn't in told in first person, so there could be a lot of untold crazyness. I think they fixed the episode in the summary to make it Redefinition. I also agree that the lessened crazy ranting was okay with me. At that point in the story line, she was not quite as crazy except when in mid vision. I think her insanity was hitting a lot harder back when she was sick.

I agree with the majority on this one.
Liked it, but too many borrowed words. I understand that the quotes are used to show exactly when these thoughts are taking place, with something this short it may have been too much.

I hope it ends this round with the tie. They could potentially draw this out for a long time, but with no hope of winning. They'll kill a couple more villagers, but still lose.
