Uh...I'm going with Cordelia, over all others That's actually a really good one! Ms. Chase will always have a place in my heart.

I say, Tara. I think it be more scarier if she was the first evil instead of Cassie(conversation with dead people), i just imagine Tara doing an evil smile and then the laugh, i think i be spooked..

I'd bring Joyce back for sure! I missed her character so much in the later seasons, but it was nice that she still got to drop in every now and again. I would say out of all the deaths that have occurred in the Buffyverse/Whedonverse, Joyce's is arguably the one that touched me the most because it was the most realistic. It's like you didn't realize how important she was to Buffy's life, to Buffy's world, until she was no longer there. I really think that Joyce was sort of the glue that held Buffy together and kept her grounded. Once that was gone Buffy kinda went off the deep in for a little while.
In addition to Joyce I think I would also bring Tara and Jenny back. All the death's affected me except Warren's.

Tara's death served a purpose, so I will leave that one be. Anya is my choice because there was no real need to kill her off.

i think Anya's death was supposted to rock the pillars that the series stood on. The very fact that it wasn't a worth more then three lines at the most makes me angry, but I understand the finality of it. Sometimes death isn't a slow process you have to deal and move on to the next issue at hand. Grieve privatly. I have had to do that a few times in my life. I think I would bring Fred back... I think the whole a hell god hollowed her out and is just using her shell is to fantastical for me. It just seems in a way unbelievable for the universe... kind of like she was possesed by an alien...

I would like to see Sunday more. She was fiercely sexy and bad ass. I thought her character was very uptight, she be a perfect resembles of Cordelia as a vampire.

I don't think I'd revive any dead characters, I'm very much in the boat of when someone's dead, leave 'em dead (unless under very special circumstances). If we're talking about just rewriting and not killing someone off however, I would definitely choose Cordelia because the lady did not deserve to go out like that. Even over my favourite Anya, but I feel that her ending somewhat suited her character, even if Joss did not deal with her death well in Season 8.

If you could revive anyone from Buffy, who would you choose and why? My first pick would have to be Joyce. She was THE greatest TV mom. Yes, she had her breakdowns and bad judgments but it makes her human. I hate the "perfect" TV moms who do all the right things and have the perfect advice. *cough* Full House... Anyways, she took the whole slayer thing(for the most part) pretty well. I was also completely devastated when I saw The Body and the daydream bit where it shows Buffy, Dawn and her in the hospital. It still gives me false hope EVERY time. Joyce was just a great character. I completely agree with you here, one thousand million percent agree. Joyce would definitely be my first pic as well. She was a great character/great mom, and I feel she doesn't often get the credit from fans that she deserves. Joyce is easily the best TV mom ever!!! In fact, as a teen watching the show, I often wished that Joyce was my mom, and sometimes still feel that way today! Oh. And I completely agree with you about The Body. It is the only episode of Buffy throughout the entire series I have seen maybe twice max, it is just too painful to watch! Other characters I would like to revive include Jenny and Tara. And also Anya.

We all seem to be bringing back the good guys, I would actually go for Darla. She was dusted in Season 1 "Angel" and bought back on occasion for the history lessons of Angel. I think she was one mean but cute vampire.

I'd bring back Renee. I know many of you are like "What? Why?" but I think most of the other dead characters had their wonderful times as major characters and had many shiny moments, but I feel she got jipped. I thought she would have made a great original Season 8 major character (along with Satsu), but she was killed off too suddenly. Plus if she was still alive, there's a better chance we wouldn't have Dander (I loathe Dander).

I thought her death was excellent to give the season its first Spice of a great unexpected unpredictable shock. Its was sad, i liked Renee too.

I've always been against bringing dead people back, since it tends to leave deaths in ongoing franchises with no impact whatsoever.
I won't mourn any dead characters, if I know/suspect they'll be back after a while.
But if I had to choose one, it would be Fred; her dead was the most touching to me, and she's the dead character, who I liked the most.

I love Renee as a character and hated when she died (and also the fact that she died in such a brutal way). I found her an interesting new character in S8 along with Satsu, and felt that she and Xander were really on the verge of something special and that they would have been a cute couple. I hate that Xander, once again has to go through the pain of losing yet another girlfriend. And it's made even worse by the fact that she was murdered right in front of him. Poor Xander. I wonder if he'll ever catch a break in the relationship department. Jenny!!!!!, i know she came back as the first and she did excellent to show the whole creepy side of the first. But i want her back as nice Jenny. Agreed. I loved Jenny's character. She and Giles were a cute couple and she was interesting in her own right. It would have been great if the writers had explored her character more. Unfortunately, she died just as things were getting interesting. It would have been nice to know more of her backstory. I would want her back for Giles' sake.

I totally agree *KARMA*, her back history was also interesting, as the whole Gypsies side of her development. But we didn't see that explored enough to make her very interesting. And Giles and jenny was cute thats why i didn't what her too die.

I think it would be cool if Amanda came back as a vampire, after being bitten by the turok han in chosen. I really grew to like her and she'd be so weird evil.

Amanda appears to have been killed in a normal way, not bitten, though it's hard to tell exactly. ( Screencap.)
