I'd have to go with Tara. I definitely wouldn't want to alter her death or anything like that. I think her death was done perfectly and she has been away long enough for Willow's character to develop and learn from it. I think if they brought her back now into a love triangle with Kennedy and Willow it could really work. I don't think I would go with Anya. I've always seen Anya as a sort of extension of Xander and I feel like after being left at the alter, her relationship with Xander was becoming pretty stagnant. Plus her death seems to fall in line with Xander's curse of ill-fated romances. Kendra would be an interesting idea. I like the idea of grouping her with the original slayers; Buffy, Faith, and Kendra. I didn't know Cordelia died either...

^ Yeah, Cordelia died, which was pretty upsetting. I don't know how far you've gone into Angel so I won't spoil it for you, but all I can say is, brace yourself

If it involved going back and erasing them ever dying them I'd pick Joyce because The Body is such a sad episode, kills me every time. But if actually bringing them back from the dead I'd pick Anya 'cos she's awesome.

^ I agree Anya was an excellent character. Her development is one of the best. But i kinda liked her death.

You liked Anya's death? But it was so impersonal!

Yes i liked how she died, fighting for humans, i respect the whole concept of battle. And i loved her death, i felt her ending made her into a hero.

Tara's death was perfectly done - sudden, brutal and bone-chilling. Same goes for Jenny and Anya. Although I love them all, I wouldn't wanna revive them. However, I've started watching Angel (first season) and I already know that Cordelia's gonna die at some point, so I'll vote for her. She's one of my favorite characters.

All sentimentality aside, because there's tons for the main characters that are gone, I think Holden Webster from "Conversations With Dead People" would be a riot. A nice verbal sparring partner for Buffy. A male vamp that's not in love with her. Could be interesting.

Totally agree, i thought it was excellent to introduce him as spike dark secret, that he is killing again. I would love Sunday back because thought she was fiercely sexy and a great fighter..

Ooh Sunday from S4 right? Yeah that would be great but no silly plotting or scheming like Glory and others. She would need to go balls to the wall violent. And the sad part about Holden was Buffy was the only one who knew he had existed. How could he come back? Still pondering that.

I always felt that the first was more of a concept that when given the opportunity could amass itself into something , not necessarily tangible, but plausible as singular entity on this plane. So even with the death of Caleb, couldn't it be possible that the First, through our own belief in it, still exist? And thus come back to wreak havoc? Just a thought.

^^ Yeah i felt it was also a concept but a really good one, the first can never get destroyed its the first ever source of evil which created evil, and existence long before the universe was ever created. IMO i thought the first entity might be a god of that is evil, just a thought.

Exactly. Maybe the writers are tired of using the First as an antagonist, but I think because of the way they established the concept there are so many more possibilities that could be explored. And okay this might seem silly, but if there's a first evil, shouldn't there technically be a first good? Yin Yang kinda thing. I don't seem to recall any mention anywhere of that concept other than the overriding idea of Good vs. Evil. And if there was or is, how would it be embodied? I mean the First was self aware. Is Good? Sorry going way off topic. Hey how about Snyder coming back. Didn't you just love to hate the weasel? I could see some big resentment on his part.

I heard that the first was the opposite of the powers that be.
