it would have to be cordelia. no other character was utterly destroyed like hers was. if cordy didn't end up dead after the whole jasmine-possession ordeal, I think I could deal better. I actually LIKE the jasmine storyline- and it was cool to see evil cordy and have her be possessed, but why'd she have to die in the end?!? She totally should've been there with the gang when they moved into Wolfram & Hart- she could've been in the public relations department! *Sigh*-- but there's no re-writing it at this point :/

Hard choice for me. But if I had to choose just one I'd pick Anya. Sure she had an incredibly long life, but she didn't deserve to die in the end. She was my favorite character, and still is. Tara & Cordy also need to come back. Cordy had such an unjust ending. After everything she did for the team, and the writers treat her like garbage in season 4. And after that she only has one episode to make up for that? That is pure crap. That character deserved much more than how she was treated.

I liked Anya death just for the reason of the concept of battle and she was courage by herself of the experience of the human race ,she stood and fight, i found that special.

Yes I automatically thought Tara and then I saw Anya and I went why didnt' I think of her? But I agree with Buffylover, I liked the way Anya died and for what purpose...though I do wish something was at least mentioned in Season 8 but i'll move on.

I pick Tara partly because the way she died was so heartbreaking and for absolutely no greater purpose, and because I would have loved seeing her come back the way Joss said he intended her to. So beautiful.

Jenny Calendar. I think of all the other characters that died, none ever made me as bitter as hers. Throughout the series we see characters falling in and out of love, some died and some lived. But Giles deserved Jenny for all he'd done and would do, it was sad to see him touch the rim of love and have it ripped away so horribly.

^^ Agree!!, Jenny calenders death to me was an amazing climax and plot to make Angelus more of a big bad, so i only liked that reason that Angelus becomes a great villain for Buffy.
But the death was too shocking and that Angelus as a character was disturbing enough to arrange her like that to make Giles devastated, but that was a great climax and development for Angelus behalf.

I might repeated myself but i want to share my aggression.
I want the first to reappear because It stated that the first is the source and embodiment of all that is evil. And i love the concept that the first isn't a demon or humans and not even a god it is a power.
It is said that the First lurked in the darkness long before the universe was even created and shall remain long after the universe ends. Which to me you Wonder that the first will come back bigger and better.
But then again the first is evil so basically everything is evil is the first.

Who is Hallow Thor? I admit that i have an addiction and obsession of the first, i just love the whole concept.
Imagine Buffy got emerged by the first. And Buffy goes all evil and gained the strength of the First ever evil. And buffster would be the big bad for the season, that be AWESOME.
