If you could revive anyone from Buffy, who would you choose and why?
My first pick would have to be Joyce. She was THE greatest TV mom. Yes, she had her breakdowns and bad judgments but it makes her human. I hate the "perfect" TV moms who do all the right things and have the perfect advice. *cough* Full House... Anyways, she took the whole slayer thing(for the most part) pretty well. I was also completely devastated when I saw The Body and the daydream bit where it shows Buffy, Dawn and her in the hospital. It still gives me false hope EVERY time. Joyce was just a great character.

For Buffy or from Buffy? My answer would be different depending on which one.
For Buffy would definitely be Joyce. From Buffy would be Tara because it breaks my heart that she's gone.

As torn as I may be between Tara, Joyce, Jenny, and Anya, I'd go with Tara. Not just because she's pretty much my favorite character of the show, but she and Willow had just got back together and it sucked to see her die. That and because I think Kennedy wasn't a very good choice for Willow's new girlfriend.

Sorry guys! I just meant from the show in general, not for Buffy. Fixed it though!

From Buffy would be Tara because it breaks my heart that she's gone. My jaw literally dropped when that happened. Seeing Willow covered in Tara's blood seriously shocked me. The reason why it didn't affect me that much because it happened so fast. It took a while for me to process what was happening. EDIT: That and because I think Kennedy wasn't a very good choice for Willow's new girlfriend. Oh yes, I loathe Kennedy. She's just... nasty.

Tara was so sweet and she had a real knack for understanding and helping people. She was a rare person and to see her so needlessly snuffed out was just awful.

I'm torn between Anya and Tara, but I think I'd pick Tara in the end. Tara is my favorite character and it would be great to reunite Willow and Tara together again! ;D

^^ I thought about choosing Anya because I was very upset about her death. I became really attached to her and she had grown so much.

Tara. She's the kind of wise, compassionate person who can't help but make a positive impact on the people who know her.

Anya. Definitely Anya. She's my favorite Whedonverse character and I was heart broken to see her go.

Without a doubt, Tara. I was so devastated when she died. She's one of my favourite characters and her and Willow are one of my favourite couples. They just fit together so perfectly. Plus then Kennedy could disappear, so bonuses all round.

definatly Tara, she has been one of my all time favorite characters. and i kinda feel like we were left with SO many unanswered questions about her life before meeting Willow, and about her in general.

When I first think about it, Anya or Tara pop into mind... But I'm going to pass one them.
When I go more into thought, I would pick Jenny. I was a big Jenny fan, and would like to see more of her, if there was any possible way, that made sense.

I can't think of one. I really hate that Tara died, but I don't want her brought back. I love fanfics where she survived/were brought back, but those were just fanfics. To cheapen her death, or Willow's journey after Tara's death (since a lot of what makes Willow who she is today is because of Tara, including Tara's death) would be wrong for the characters, for the story and for the fans.
I can remember my mixed reaction when I read the original idea for the end of Season 7, that Buffy got to choose between making Angel human or brining back Tara (and she choose Tara, and Willow was all happy). It was both happiness and despair. It seemed like such a ridicoulous idea, yet I wanted it. But I think it was for the best that they didn't go that way (I read it was because Benson was busy or something). Of course, I thought Spike & Buffy getting together way silly, and that "making" a sister for Buffy was a aweful idea, but Joss made it work.
However, it's not like he's perfect (Warren's return is a example) and I really don't want Tara's story to be screwed up.

I thought kinda the same way when i read about that... but what i truly did wish for, however, was in the season finale when willow went all goddess to turn the potentials into slayers for her to see Tara while the spell was going on...

Tara! I loved her dearly. She was great. And there's so many interactions I would have loved to have seen involving her. I would have loved to have seen her go with Willow to LA to re-soul Angel and interact with Angel an company. And I always thought it would have been neat if The First taunted Tara disguised as her mother.
Anya's death, as much as I loved her, did her character justice. She pretty much spent her whole existence dealing vengeance no innocent people. (just cause they were jerk boyfriends to girls doesn't mean they weren't innocent.) She went out dealing a furious anger and vengeance on the bad guy.
Joyce was heartbreaking but helped Buffy to grow and made an excuse for Dawn's constant whiny-ness.
