I am so glad that when I finally can afford comics books again (September, October) I have about 30 Angel comics left to read. And a few Buffy comics.
Hell, I might have to wait until November to be able to afford all the comics, lol.

I am just going to wait for all the TPB's and just get the odd issue if someone cool pops back up.... Like Gunn or Illyria? Illyria is very cool, but I have lots of her to tie me over for now... I mean old characters that are no longer part of the storyline... Darla/Cordy/Fred/Wes etc. so it they pop back up I will get it and see what they are up too... but I don't see any of them coming back so I will just have to wait for the TPB. |

David Messina posted a new image on his BLOG:  Cover for issue #2 perhaps? I love Illyria's darker/muted coloring and his Gunn is perfect, especially around the eyes. Dying to see some interior art. |

Very nice pencilling. I think I recognize both poses from pictures.
Can't say I like the coloring, I like "smooth" colors. The background is very well colored tough.

I hope Gunn dies and gets a really cool death, like he sacrifices himself for Illyria (he ended Fred's life and then ends his life for Illyria or something) ... I hope something really big and eventful happens (if not, then it's just a whole lot of stuff that happens lol..)

You really don't like Gunn, do you? Don't worry, I'm not exactly a fan of him running around the place with Illyria, cuz who knows what could happen. Me likey Lyri with Spikey. But then again, I don't think Gunn will die. Why would he? He's an important part of Angel and therefore, he will live on

I really liked him in season 1-2 (and the last ep in S5) but that's it... but I am happy to see some more 'good' Gunn and 'Human' Illyria in the comics...
