Cool cover. I didn't like it at first, the strange lighting makes Spike look kind of porcelein (sp?), but now I find it really interesting.
I've not read Asylum/Shadow Puppets, could someone tell me more about Beck? Is she a pyrokinetic demon or something?
Is "No Bad Too Big" the name of the story, or just the series' tagline?
Really excited for this series. ;D

Kinda. I can't remember if she was confirmed to be human or not.
I think she burned her family to death, so I assume they were human and that she was borned differently(or adopted) and they didn't know what she was. Until it was too late.

Oh those.
I don't know. That's more biological mutation than magical, and I think Gwen and Beck are magical creatures. Like witches.
Loo and Gunther had their bodies effected, but they couldn't create fire or control electricity, control something outside of themselves.

Kind of a sad story. There wasn't much time to tell her backstory in the Asylum Comic, maybe we'll hear more about it in the new Spike series. Asylum and Shadow Puppets are great, great comics ! |
