Its an intresting theory. And one to think about with the upcoming Oz arc, but I also think that it may have a deeper meaning, such as representing Willows attraction to men has always been there but Willows attraction to women may have been there, but Willow was hiding it and not admitting it to herself.

That's referring to how Oz has to hide his inner (true?) self, the wolf.

Okay if Oz was gay that would be cool because he doesn't present the stereotypical image of a gay guy. But what are the chances that he and Willow were both together and that he and Willow turn out to be gay? I think it's the wolf thing, or maybe he was just acting as a down to earth, too cool for school rock star dude when really he is a comic book nerd or something I dunno the possiblities are vast in this situation. I think Andrew is gay, the way he says how much he loves that top to one of the girls in the castle (pretty sure this is shown in the issue 23 preview) I mean common how much can they hint at this? Maybe they'll make Riley gay, like Riley on Degrassi

willow AND oz both being bi or gay after a relationship with each other is actually very possible. It happens in real life like that a lot actually.
not saying that he definitely is or anything like that. Just discussing the possibility.

It's not something Joss ever came out and said, but I think it's fairly obvious, personally. Joss isn't the kind of guy to foreshadow Oz being gay in Season Four and then reveal it in a Season Eight comic he didn't know he was doing at the time. It was definitely about the wolf.

I know the show is about female empowerment, but adding more lesbian characters is not needed to show that. This doesn't mean we can't have more lesbian characters, but that shouldn't be the reason why. This is part of the reason why I have such a problem with the Buffy/Satus relationship. I feel like it's promoting feminism in a way that's "We're women and we're all powerful on our own. We don't need men! Not even to have sex with!" That's fine, but being a feminist does not mean you're a man-hating lesbian (which the show has done a good job of showing) and just because you're a lesbian doesn't mean you're a man-hating feminist. I'm not saying that what I put in the quote is what Joss was trying to say with the Buffy/Satsu thing, but the whole realtionship just makes me think of that. That being said, we don't necessarily need a out gay guy in the Buffyverse, but it couldn't hurt (we don't necessarily need any more lesbian characters either). I also agree with the people who say that there are more gay men in the media than women. However, there are WAY more straight-girls-who-date-one-lesbian relationships than straight-guys-who-date-one-gay-guy relationships in the media (which is annoying, by the way). And now Joss is guilty of that, too. And please, no gay Oz. We've had enough decidedly straight characters become bi or "gay now!" in the Buffyverse. We fans know that sexuality is fluid. Thank you Joss, we get the message.

i personally would just like for Andrew to be out. i don't think we need to have any more gay characters added but it kinda bugs me that Andrew isn't out. i guess the argument could be made that Andrew doesn't need to come out in a big "I'm here, I'm queer" issue because it shouldn't be a big deal that people are gay. it is just as natural a part of life in the Buffy-verse as it is (should be) in the real world. maybe in passing, Andrew should comment on the hotness of Zack Effron or something like that. that would seem very Andrew-ish to me or maybe something more subtle like some Vanessa Hudgens hating! hell, i would even settle for a high school musical t-shirt. that is as much confirmation i need. lol

The gushing about Anderson Cooper still didn't tip you off? While wearing a "Spice World" t-shirt? Methinks that your gaydar is in serious need of a tuning up.

Ha, Andrew. One of my favorite characters EVER. Hes just like me.
I as well think that it would be lame, stupid, etc to make Oz have a relationship with a man. It isnt needed.

hmm... oz w a man is concept i have never given any thought to... i don't think i would be not ok with it. i would just be afraid that it would cheepen what willow and oz had, making it seem like they were nothing more than convient beards for each other.

Oz with a guy?? no way!!!! Are you kidding. It would finish destroying what Willow and Oz ever had together. I mean Willow turning bisexual is plausible, but if Oz becomes gay too, it's like those two were kidding themselves all along... and frankly it didn't look like it throughout season 2, 3 and 4. They really loved each other.
