Wow, I'm surprised we got this so early. So far, so good. I'm loving the little details on the page (Willow using an Apple computer, one of the slayers listening to an iPod) and that new Control Room is looking all kinds of rough. Great inner monologue by Andrew also.

Doesn't Jeanty's Xander look exactly like Moline's in that panel? Weird...

Yeah, that Xander drawing does look a bit like Moline's. I'm really loving the Buffy likeness on the second page.

Hip hip hooray for no more high tech super squad! I love the grungy look of the new base.
It seems much closer to what they would have done had the show continued. A basement...base! Haha. I love it! Really stoked for this issue. I think this arc may be my favorite so far by the looks of these previews.

I'm very happy the preview for the next two issues looks much better than what we got with Issue 21. Too bad there was a major show-changing event in that one...

Certainly looking forward to this issue and to see how the Simone plot will work itself out. Great preview. It's always nice to see the core gang, albeit sans Giles, together.

Haha, that was great. I agree that this arc shaping up to be one of the best, the writing in these previews are perfect. And wow, is Apple paying Dark Horse for product placement or something?

Can't say much about the writing. Nothing much going on in that department. But Jeanty is the master of the little details. I love that his Converse high-tops are accurate, right down to the pattern of the sole.
EDIT: I succumbed and bought green high-tops. Yep, Andrew is a marketing dream!

Yay for Core 3 being together! We've only had a few of those moments, but I love seeing them together, finally.

Oh my God, I love this story already! Love Andrew's cartoony run, his politeness to the two Slayers he runs over, and his super-camp entrance. Also love that he's deluding himself into thinking he's part of the inner circle, so endearing! Andrew is definitely one of my favourite comedy characters, and he seems to have translated to comics much better than Harmony. This also looks like some of Jeanty's best work so far, Willow and Buffy look especially great. Hip hip hooray for no more high tech super squad! I love the grungy look of the new base. It seems much closer to what they would have done had the show continued. A basement...base! Haha. I love it! Really stoked for this issue. I think this arc may be my favorite so far by the looks of these previews. I actually liked the high tech super squad... but I am amused by how naff their current base is.

I have to say the best part of the preview is when Andrew yells "I like your top!!" as he passes the slayers.

I really like Jeanty's art in this preview for some reason.

Wow I can't believe that we got a preview so soon. The monologue is so corny but its Andrew, what do you expect. I liked I-have-important-talk-with-the-boss run, its so funny. Also I love the new look of the base. It looks so WWII Resistance, totally underground! Can't wait for every single issue of this arc!

Is that all of the preview? I wonder if there will be more later on, as the release date gets closer. Seems kind of short compared to others we have seen in the past.

That might be all they can show without revealing a major spoiler. So is it the consensus that the narration on these pages is coming from Andrew, and not Buffy (which was my first thought)? Because if it's Andrew, it complicates one of my pet theories for this season.

We'll probably get more pages nearer the release dat, we got a few more for issue 22 so hopefully it'll be the same for issue 23 and so on. Let's hope so.

Ummm... I just noticed something. In the last panel, when Andrew slams open the door, his arms, combined with the "whoosh" line of the opening door, looks a whole lot like the Twilight symbol. And there's a starburst effect on the "WHAMM" sound effect that's right about where the starburst is in the Twilight symbol.
A coincidence?

Andrew: I don't think it's a coincidence so good catch! But I think there's a few ways to interpret the symbolism.
Andrew says in his internal monologue: "It's like our guiding principle. Nothing comes between us."
Which I see as coinciding with the door slamming = Twilight symbol.
Then Buffy contradicts Andrew immediately: "Andrew, if you slam that door one more time, I will make you eat it."
So Andrew is wrong in that nothing will come between them as we see in this scene. But is it Twilight that comes between the Scoobies? Is Andrew susceptible to Twilight because of Warren? Does this mean Andrew will willingly choose to help Twilight because Buffy pushed him away?
