Yes Harmonic Divergence.
Personnally I think that Dawn did.....
Nope. Keeping my mouth shut.
But come on, the poor girl has been a freak for 21 issues now. Everybody thinks she's either crazy or miserable. And the horse is the only one paying her some attention, and showing some interest...

No bestiality to be had... just the overactive imaginations of some, that's all.

Ok so out of this arc this is the issue where Buffy will be most prominently featured, besides 23 i guess, and there has also been specualtion based on eevrythign scott allie said that there is going to be alot to do with twilight in this issue. Xander and Dawn are the two closest people to buffy. More than Willow More than Giles. Are we forgetting about the betrayal by the one closest to her? i think this issue will change everything and one of our favorite heroes is gonna become a not so favorite villain. I dont really like xander twilight theories but i feel like thats where this is head. Him and Dawn together.. i dunno "I got a theory, it may be bunnies!" lol sorry thot it was funny to include that; anyway on a more serious note (and i dunno if anyone has mentioned this on here yet) but dont any of you think it could be satsu? i mean, come on she is technically the closest thing to buffy as she is defo in love with the head blonde bombshell that is buffy summers, and buffy at some level must feel something for her (eg sex with spike = why? and at the end she did have feelings for him, just took her a while to admit said feelings...) another reason why this would be the most "unexpected of betrayals" is the fact that buffy wouldn't consider satsu to be the one to betray her as satsu is in love with her and looks up to buffy. i know this mite be a bit of a stretch but i'm still bracing myself for the big reveal on the "backstabber" as i have an inckling that it mite be buffy's most recent (and female) lover....

oh and also the fact that buffy seems to be chummy with satsu (b4 the whole sex thing) when she asks to see her after class to go over hairstyles etc in one of the first issues...

Dark Horse Solicits are out for May: Written by Doug Petrie, penciled by Georges Jeanty, inked by Andy Owens, colored by Michelle Madsen, covers by Jeanty and Jo Chen.
Doug Petrie, formerly a writer and director on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, joins Buffy Season Eight with "Living Doll." The spell little Dawnie got whacked with by the Thricewise demon she angered just keeps . . . evolving. First, she's a giant; then, she's a centaur; now, she's a . . . what?! Buffy, ever busy saving the world, will finally have to take action regarding her little sis when Dawn's mysterious disappearance makes it a priority. At least, she better be in some sort of danger, or Buffy's going to kick her butt for wasting precious time acting like an attention-seeking teen -- which is what Dawn is, after all.
40 pages, $2.99, in stores on May 6. What on earth is going on in Jo's cover?! I love them both, especially how Georges mirrors Jo's #4. (From Comics Continuum, I'm sure hires from CBR will follow v. soon)

And I can't see how anyone feels that Buffy hasn't been neglecting Dawn's state. Look at doll!Dawn in Jeanty's variant - her clothes are ratty and worn like a forgotten toy. Symbolic much.
And what the heck is that in Chen's cover? Is that Kenny?

It's mouth is very vagina-like.
Wow, so that's what a Thricewise demon looks like. Been a long time coming!

Ok.. really not what I expected based on the whole "romance novel" concept. It's a great cover, good Michelle likeness and amazing background....but gross!
I thought the focus would be on Xander and Dawn, but this seems more Buffy and Dawn, which I am very happy with. They are sisters! But they have had little to no contact this season and that is very depressing, like two little scenes in The Long Way Home. So Dawn disappears and now[/i] she's Buffy's priority? I know Buffy has a lot on her plate, but come on! I wouldn't blame Dawn if she runs away.
Very excited for this issue now, finally some sister drama.

Wow! Loving both covers! That has to be the Thricewise Dawn is about to round First Base with. Absolutely love the romance novel theme, and Dawn's likeness, WOW! Even better than Chen's #18 likeness.

And what the heck is that in Chen's cover? Is that Kenny? I don't think her clothes are ratty at all. They kinda look like the doll clothes from antique dolls... very much like the ones Dru carries about. As for the Chen cover... way to kill a fantasy... romance novel cover indeed. That tongue! It's very near Dawn's mouth! ACK! Should have just stuck to Lorelahn and his root system... just saying.

Like I said. It's mouth looks like a vag! A tongued vag!!
Yuck...the Thricewise is alot nastier than I thought it would be! I thought Kenny was a human? Or maybe he has a human form as well...

Wow... so many people want Xander and Dawn ? I really can't see Xander with anyone but Anya.. ( I hope we see her on more time ) but him and Dawn? it's not like there is a big age differents (Buffy/Angel how old was he when he was turned into a Vampire? 20's) But if anyone, I would want to see Buffy/Xander. & even then, not really ... (I really want to see him with Willow ) Wow, haha I didn't see the covers, what is going on with Buffy season 8 ? anyway, it looks funny ...
