Cover: (click for larger) Written by Tom Fassbender, Jim Pascoe and Christopher Golden, art by Cliff Richards, Paul Lee, Eric Powell and others.
Buffy's emotions run high after the tragic loss of her mother, but she still fights. She struggles with blood-starved vamps from another dimension and swarms of green demon children with a penchant for nibbling on faces, and, as barriers between alternate realities erode, nightmare versions of friends and long-dead enemies must be dealt with. Then Buffy's own death‹having sacrificed herself for Dawn -- takes a toll on the Scoobies, as they deal with demons and crazed forest creatures in a tale by Amber Benson ("Tara") and Christopher Golden. When Buffy is restored to life, she undertakes a secret mission with Angel, and all the loose ends are tied up with Buffy's trip to hell, bringing an end to a four-year run of Buffy comics.
408 pages, $24.95, in stores on June 3. Preview:

This sounds great! I am really looking forward to reading about her reaction to Joyce's death and coming back from the dead. Now I know that there is a TPB/comics that are collectively called "The Death of Buffy", so I wonder if they are intertwined or are considered their own separate story? There is a small bit in that showing what the Scoobies think about Buffy & Angel's reunion. I wonder what image they are going to use for the cover? I am also very excited to read Amber's comic work.

Ok, good I am glad that Death of Buffy is in there.
I didn't even notice the link up there, but I love it! Definitely worthy of a future banner. Woo!

Ok, good I am glad that Death of Buffy is in there. Oh, I must have misunderstood your question. I don't know if it's in the Omnibus, just that it's part of the 63 issue run.

So Chaos Bleeds isn't going to be collected?

Have you checked darkhorse's description for each omnibus? Because I think I read that Chaos Bleeds is in one of them

Just because Chaos Bleeds isn't in the description doesn't mean it won't be in it. For the Omnibus 6 press release there's no mention of the Giles & Jonathan one shots, but they are in there

Thank you. I really hope it is in there. I played the video game but never had the chance to read the comic.

I wonder what is going to be in there. I have seen other indexes of the other Omnibuses online, so hopefully there will be one available soon. I am very interested in the Chaos Bleeds comic.

I wonder what is going to be in there. I have seen other indexes of the other Omnibuses online, so hopefully there will be one available soon. I am very interested in the Chaos Bleeds comic. Based on my notes, I think the following is left: - Buffy #39-50 - Lost & Found - Reunion - Chaos Bleeds - Willow & Tara: Wilderness - Rock 'n Roll All Night (Dark Horse Extra #49-50) I think that matches up well with the page count from solicitation info (a hefty 408 pages). Unfortunately, I think that means it's unlikely we'll see the 'graphic novel' Creatures of Habit and The First Time short story (from Buffy #50) included.

408 pages, $24.95, in stores on June 3. www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0901/07/buffy7.htm That is the description for Chaos Bleeds, so it looks like it will be in this volume. The cover is great, looks like Paul Lee's art, which I adore. I was slightly surprised at Tara's absence, especially since most of the volume takes place in season six.

That's going to be a very very long Omnibus, I'm not sure how long the others are, but 400+ pages are a lot, of which I will happily read. I also wish that Tara was on the cover, now that I think about it, but at least she will be in the comics with the story with her and Willow. I don't believe that she was featured in the comics much anyways, was she?

Pretty cool that this one will be 400+ pages. That makes it almost as large as the Angel Omnibus (which was closer to 500 pages, I believe).

I'm not surprised about Creature of habit, since it's more ofa book than a comic, but I must check out that first time story. I don't know if I've read it.

Whooo I'm excited for this Omnibus Volume!
Tara definitely should have been on this cover. There's even a spot for her on the right between Willow and Dawny. Just where she should be. ;-)

Maybe they'll show the true cover later, as usual, and Tara is gonna be in it.

I thought that was the final cover. Was that used on a previous issue?
