I'm in, although my contributions might have to be in the form of shiny bits of string and the lint in my pockets!
On the movie idea, i like the idea of Buffy being a mum. You could set it years later, with her totally out of the vampire-slaying game being pulled back in for one last important job, while trying to keep it all away from her child. Sounds kinda cheesy, but i can see it in a kind of Ripley-esque way...

I agree - the original movie was not bad at all. Although, we can all fairly say it was nothing like the television series, but still it was a good film. The only thing I think they shoulda changed for that movie was the constant humour - all their dialogue was them trying to be funny...mostly...and Joss's original script was much darker in the sense that Buffy actually set the gym on fire and it wasn't so cocky.

i'm having a Bday party tomorrow night and we are watching Buffy Original Movie and then Twilight. LOL It's gunna be lameness an vampires all round.
(I promise to cap of the evening with GOOD Buffy/Angel eps.)

I don't believe it. I believed 'Ripper' and I'm still waiting.
Although this might stop my whole boycott of SMG which started when I tried to get something BTVS signed and she was all 'I'm promoting the Grudge right now'.
If she gives proper respect t what made her so famous in the first place, I'd come back to the table.
