Very well put deathisyourgift. I agree. Dollhouse's chance doesn't look great, but until Fox officially announces their Fall schedule I will continue to hold out hope. I believe it's a good show that will only get better with time and I want to believe that there are some people at Fox whose feel the same and are willing to give Dollhouse & Joss Whedon a second season to prove it.
Personally I think everyone continually saying "Dollhouse is done" or "It's sure to be canceled now" is extremely hurtful to the cause.

That is actually pretty interesting and Eliza's tweet is very suspicious. Global TV is a Canadian network, and they also announced that FOX cancelled Drive two days before it was officially said by FOX. I'm not getting my hopes up at all, but again, this is very interesting.

Well, Eliza also tweeted earlier today, "Wouldn't Dollhouse on Tuesday be awesome?".... YEA. Think about how many more views it would get if it came on after American Idol.

There is also this weird bit from here. I don't really think we can read much into this apart from it being an insight into Joss's vision for the show. Radha: Dollhouse's chances of renewal are reportedly slim. Please, please say it isn't so! Do you have any happier news?
You know that 14th episode of Dollhouse that's set in a post-Apocalyptic universe and that won't be appearing on Fox network but will be included on the season-one DVD? Well, no one's officially confirming anything, and this is all still entirely in the theoretical dreamy dream stage, but reliable sources tell us exclusively that spinning off "Epitaph One" into a new series is "not exactly outside the realm of Joss’ master plan." So even if Dollhouse proper doesn't get a pickup for season two, there might still be an alternate Dollverse for us to play in. What do you think of that?! |

In fact Fox did a fairly crappy job of advertising the show in general. I watch House, Bones and occasionally Fringe, but I can honestly say that at no point did I see a Dollhouse promo featured in any of the other shows. |
