Yes, I ahve considerd that in order to hit Tara it would have to have hit at least one object if not two in order to go through the window at the angle needed to hit erh straight in the back. But as that just makes the situation look even more ludicrous, it doesn't much help their case.

See post above.
NOTE: ambersknight, could you please resize your avatar to the 100X100 maximum specifications. It's a tad big right now. Thanks.
EDIT: Never mind, I resized it for you.

I see the same picture, wenxina, but I stand by my conclusion.

I see the same picture, wenxina, but I stand by my conclusion. And I stand by mine. Tango over?

Yep. No point in tangoing.

Ambersknight, let's be honest, had the bullet killed, say, Dawn or Kennedy, you would be totally fine with it.

Actually, no, I wouldn't. That it was Tara got me extra miffed I'll grant you but the principle remains if it had been them.

Thanks for the re-size wenxina. I thought I'd pu tthe 100 x 100 on it. Obviously not. Thanks for re-sizing It's kinda weird... I've had that issue before too, where I uploaded a pic, specified 100x100, but it still came out huge. So I finally just put used Photobucket to resize the damn thing, and that worked. No problem about the resize. Note to all, please make sure that your avatars are in compliance. Some do look a smidge on the larger side, but as long as they don't stretch out the layout too much, we're not too picky about it.

125x125 is actually the largest avatar size we allow. Check out this thread. Although I think our banner size restrictions have been increased from 500x125 to 500x150 over the last few months. Avatars restriction is still 125x125. The profile page is misleading, plus it is bugged or something and won't resize pictures for you. I wish that it would only allow people to add 125x125 size avatars so that we would just never have to ask people to resize them.

Was it ever 100x100, Wyn? For some reason I remember 100x100. Well... 125x125 makes things a little easier to resize or crop then.

Btw, ambersknight, Amber looks positively glowy in your avatar. Sorry, forgot to comment on that earlier.

Without trying to sound completely fan guy about her (at 37 I really can't call myself a fan boy), she always looks so much better in person. i was particularly proud of that picture as it was my birthday that day and she signed both my Ghosts of Albion books, one with a happy birthday message. made my day!

Not trying to stir things further, but people need to rewatch that scene if they think Tara's death was plausable. I thought the impossibility of that situation was one of those universally recognised errors. Seriously. NO WAY, ever.
Season 6 suffered from a total lack of Giles. He and Tara was the only consistantly likable characters of the season. I felt bad for Buffy, but there's only so much depression sex I can watch before I start to lose interest. If she was supposed to be so absent emotionally this season, she could have had much less screen time.

I'm with you henz on the whol implausibility thing but we are all human beings and sometimes we can see the same thing and come out with a different opinion. I once got into a big debate with my best friend over the meaning of a look in the film "Heat", because my friend and I saw the same film but came to 2 completely separate conclusions about what it meant.
I agree about the Buffy thing from two small perspectives. One, i certainly think the whole "Buffy screwing SPike just to feel" went on too long. My second perspective is extrapolation from that. I feel that certain stories were pushed to the background that desperately needed more time and effort but I felt that the writers were more interested in showing James with his shirt off and he and SMG "Nearly naked" to concentrate on important storylines.

^ Indeed. I assume Buffy's role in season 6 was the size it was because SMG is the star, and less because the writers felt it necessary. I guess this is fair enough, but I found Buffy's struggle far more compelling early on in the season, when she'd pretty much dismiss whatever she faced and walk off.
This season turns to shit with Smashed/Wrecked. These two are just a pair of sleazy diversions. If you skipped these and went right from Tabula Rasa to Gone, you wouldn't miss much; in fact, you'd be better off for it. Where Buffy and Spike were going was obvious, and Willow's story wouldn't have gone so far off track. Surely it makes more sense for Willow to drop magic instantly in order to get Tara back? Why do we have to watch her turn into a crack-head first?
As hot as James Masters is, I never understood why girls liked his naughty scenes this season. Maybe I'm not gay enough to appreciate him lol, but I was far too aware of how wrong the relationship was to see any kind of sexy. Plus, dumpster sex... ew.

Yes, my personal opinion is "wrecked" is not only a wonderfully named episode (cos I think that's where the wreck for the season was actually put in place) but I believe that is the episode where Buffy jumped the shark.

It's a been a while, but Smashed ends with Willow and Amy in the club messing about with magic and Buffy and Spike getting it on... right?
