Does anybody ever pretend they are Buffy or Willow or Xander or somebody from the show? I don't mean being really weird, like saying only Buffy quotes and calling yourself Buffy the Vampire Slayer! But, does anybody ever get that feeling when you're watching a certain Buffy season and you just get that feeling where you want to go for a walk in the graveyard with a yoyo and your iPod in your ears listening to Blue by Angie Hart or something. (Blue by Angie Hart is the first song played on the Buffy episode 'Conversations With Dead People' in season seven. I think it's a very Buffy-like song, and whenever I'm bored I listen to it to get into a Buffy mood.) Anybody? Sometimes I just get in that mood! I don't know how to explain it, it's weird. See, my Mum and I like to go for walks at night when it's warm and I just feel like Buffy, it's way cool. Hahah, maybe that's weird. Ooh, and sometimes I even have dreams that I'm Buffy, but it's never like a big event, it's always Buffy (or sometimes Faith) just patroling through the graveyard or something like that. It's crazy. Also, does anybody have songs that they listen to that are very Buffy-like to them? Like 'Blue' is my Buffy song and I just love it. And yea, this is my majorly long ramble about my Buffy-self.  Congratulations for making it this far, if you read the whole thing! Please post your thoughts, that is the reason I wrote all this, if that was unclear, lol. Please post anything, like any Buffy-dreams you've had or what gets you in a Buffy-watching mood, or whatever Buffy is to you! Never even thought of pretending to be Buffy. But I don't think I really have the legs to be able to pull it off, anyway...   I do have an eyepatch tucked away someplace, tho, so I could probably do a pretty good Xander...  |

Omg... I am a total 5 year old at heart, so I go around pretending to be characters from the show a lot. xD Um, I made a stake out of a tree branch once, and I went outside and pretended to stake vampires. My mom took my stake away from me though, cause she doesn't like my Buffy obsession.  It was really cool looking too! Heh, I used to get Buffy dreams a lot... just where I would like be in an episode, or the characters were interacting with me in some other way. Pretty ace, if you ask me. Omg! I love the song Blue!! That totally reminds me of Buffy Also Pavlov's Bell by Aimee Mann & Sugar Water by Cibo Matto.  Wow... people are gonna think I'm even weirder now. |

Oh my gosh you are a total me! haha except the stake part, i never did that  lol i love those songs aswell! especially sugar water, thats a definite buffy song  thats what my dreams used to be like! except the you and tara and computer games thing |

1/3 of my day(24 hours) is spent drifting in and out of Buffy-day-dream land. I'm not kidding.
I used to pretend I was Buffy, but it got boring, so I made my own character, who goes through different adventures(and often fandoms, like X-men and Supernatural) with the characters of Buffy & Angel.
Explanation: I'm bored a lot.

You're totally not alone in this thinking! I've thought of it before, like when I would be walking down the street on a nice summer night, and I'd pretend how cool it'd be to live in Sunnydale and be like Buffy. Or there are times when I'm in a bummed mood or don't know that to do and think "What would Buffy do?", especially since she's a fantastic role model. I mean, especially with all of the props that I've got(i.e. the Stake), it's an option to run around my house and pretend I'm Buffy....not that I'd ever do that or anything...  |

LOL, icy i love you. My mum also has no support for my Buffy obsession... she's very "why don't you go watch some reality tv.. with no vampires.." I don't really pretend to be buffy but i have a lot of "WWBD" moments... ;D Oh and i always listen to songs off buffy. they have so much more meaning. |

Pretty much everything listed here so far I do. I daydream, I go for walks and all in all wish I was Buffy so much I pretend to be her lol. The song I often listen to that's buffyesque is Pavlov's Bell by Aimee Mann

i always pretend to be from the show. i like to pretend to be Willow or Faith (i prefer Faith to Buffy). Sometimes when i'm home alone i crank the music from the final battle of Chosen and practice martial arts...........i mean, no, no....i don't ever do that...
i've also whittled my own stake and i keep it on my bedside table at night. I also have a very Faith-esque leather jacket that i wear sometimes.
For songs i listen to Goodbye To You (end of Tabula Rasa) and i have the whole Buffy score, plus the theme songs of Buffy and Angel, and a few other Buffy instrumental songs that weren't from the score.
This one time i had a dream post-Chosen, where i was Faith, and me and about twenty new Slayers lived in a mansion, and we got attacked, and it was actually the most fun dream i'd ever had.

Has she seen those shows? Or maybe she mean those shows that doesn't show people arguing, complaining and getting kicked out of a house. Or maybe those reality shows are a myth Sorry for dissing your mom, there's actually good reality shows out there, but I bet that in general, Buffy's healthier to watch. |

i've never actually pretended to be buffy or anything, but when i was younger i used to twirl broken broom sticks and pretend i was gabby from xena  most stuff reminds me of buffy tho like today, my nephew said to me "oh, it's like we're sisters" to which i replied "with really different hair!" i had to explain to everyone the buffy reference and the episode it came from, since they didn't know |
