Overnight Ratings for Ghost:Click here.4.72 million viewers last night with a 2.0 demo. The numbers arn't great. The good news is that it (sadly) gained over a million viewers from Terminator and the demo was WAY up. I hope next week the demo keeps climbing, because I bet that's what FOX will be looking at.

Hmmm, I was expecting the numbers to hit at least 6 million. Despite Terminator's low ratings (dammit), the fact that Dollhouse's ratings were a million larger than Terminator's is pretty impressive. That will show FOX that the show didn't just carry over Terminator viewers, but attracted its own crowd. The overall numbers across the board last night weren't very large to begin with, and Dollhouse didn't lose its time slot at least (beat out CW and NBC).
Hopefully the premiere will generate a lot of buzz and word of mouth and the numbers will climb next week. FOX has said they will air all 13 episodes, so hopefully we can get up to 6 million viewers by the end of the season.

i did a little more digging and i feel a little better about the low numbers. it cae in 3rd for the entire night and it managed to maintain almost all of the viewers in the 2nd half. it beat friday night lights and that show has been on for 3 years.

It´s sad.
I don´t think the show will las longer than the 13 episodes, because Fox cancelled Prison Break and that show had five and a half million viewers.
No good signs so far.

This stinks. I hope the numbers will arise soon, and gain more people! *Hope*

I think the important thing here is the demo. That's what the networks care about because that's where the money is. Sure, Flashpoint got a lot more viewers, but Dollhouse won the demo. I'm guessing if it rises to around 2.5 by the end of the season, there is a good shot it could come back. If FOX isn't happy, maybe they could do something nice and move it to FX for a second season.

Agreed. The DEMO is what's important and a 2.0 rating is a good start. Let's hope it continues to get stronger. These ratings are only for viewers who are Nielsen families, so sadly whether we watched it live or on our DVR doesn't factor in. But if you do want to show support and having your viewership count, there's a few things you can do (gakked from gossi at Whedonesque): - Watch full episodes for free at Fox's Dollhouse Website. - Watch full episodes for free on Hulu's Dollhouse Channel. Go a step further and register so you can leave a rating. - Register to Digg the first episode and show your support. - Buy it on Amazon. After that, the most you can do is spread word-of-mouth about the show and tell your friends to watch it. If they missed the premiere, they can easily catch it online.

Here's pretty positive look at the numbers from FOX: This came directly from FOX? That's pretty good. I was interesting in seeing these percentages, they were better than what I was expecting.

I just:
~5-starred the premiere on Hulu.com (going to watch it on there later). ~Dugg it on digg.com ~Bought the premiere on Amazon.com ~Bought the premiere on iTunes
I will probably also let the episode run on FOX.com later today as well.

4 million? That's good for a premiere, right?

The episode is now up on iTunes, so that is another way to support this show!
