Snipzap, it may be necessary but take out the "NOOO" because it's messing with the layout.
Anyway, this episode deserved three times the views it got. I hate the Friday night deathslot.

I fixed the NOOO! in his post, really stretched out the layout.
I really, really hope FOX is taking the DVR ratings into account. Those are the only thing that can save the show at this point.

my bad for messing with the layout... at the very least, the demo increased... not by a lot, but at least it did.

Damnit! I really hope the ratings pick up after the basketball season is over...if not, well, it's been a fun ride, Dollhouse.

There's no way they're going to pick it up again. Even if they did, it'd be a risk for FOX.
EDITED: But I just looked at the demos and ratings for every other Friday night show and Dollhouse was 3rd in it's time slot and none of the shows went part a 1.8 in the demos. So, Dollhouse is actually doing pretty average right now. With DVR the ratings usually go past a 2. And it beat FNL this week.

what were 1 and 2? if fox takes into account that they put it into the death slot, they actually might pick it up.

i dont know what to say except im disapointed and FOX needs to realise what they are doing to a great show and move it to a different day

Well... that's pretty much the end of that.
I'm sure I'll enjoy the final 5 episodes, and I'll buy the DVD set.
Don't do network TV anymore, Joss. Ever.

Don't lose hope! We still have a chance! A cable network could renew it if FOX released the rights! Or who knows, maybe FOX will renew it. It's right in the middle for Friday Night and DVR/Hulu helps a lot!

The demo, while fluctuating a bit, and having gone significantly down from the pilot, has maintained steadily strong. I'm sure FOX is also taking into account the increase of female viewership which the show has brought about.
Friday's a hard night to overcome, especially for a series that is as overwhelming and plot-driven as Dollhouse (in comparison to Friday night hits like Ghost Whisperer which remains a large audience drawer - steadily 8 through 11 million), but I'm quite optimistic. We may not get a full season order for season two, but I'm hoping Fox will see that in its short run, Dolhouse has already maintained a small, but admirably loyal, following. The series has not tanked at all, and as some have mentioned, the sales of DVDs along with the large increase in DVR numbers, Hulu/Fox.com viewership, and iTunes/Amazon sales, could quite likely give this series a second chance. As it has recently done with Fringe, Fox may extend a short second season order into a full order if the viewership shows a dramatic or steady increase.
Overall, I think, the series has done quite decently for a genre series on Friday night. No, certainly not desirably as it should, but decently nevertheless. I'm going to continue on supporting it in anyway I can, because as expected, the bar just keeps being set higher and higher. A five year run of this could possibly even top Angel for me.

Lame. If FOX makes money off of the show, they better renew it no matter what the ratings are. But nevertheless, if it doesn't improve with the Prison Break lead-in, I'm not expecting a Season 2.

the thing is, the dvd sales will have no effect on the second season if it will air in fall of 09... seeing as the dvd/blu-ray comes out in the fourth quarter (august-december), it will have no effect because production has to start in july if there is to be a fall premiere and october for a january premiere.

Just out of curiosity, what are the viewerships and demos of the other shows on Friday, and how do they compare to other genre shows on Fox and other networks? I don't think I'm the only one who thinks Dollhouse could be successful on a different network.
