I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts, but the message has been received loud & clear. It's a very sad day. I'm not really surprised, but it still hurts reading the news. At least I can take some comfort in the fact that Joss will go out there and continue working on more fascinating projects. Until then I will enjoy the remaining episodes and eat lots of ice cream.

Ahhh typical I finally convert a friend onto a whedon show and it gets canceled! Booo! Though we can't say we didn't see it coming, I am just greatful we got the second season and they have at least given Joss enough time to rap up the series nicely. . . Hope they don't just leave the Alpha plot hanging. I have purposley not baught season one on dvd so that I could buy the complete collection (like I said, we knew the cancellation was coming) Hope they air all the episodes and jam pack the dvds with extras. My friend has watched all of season 1 and is up to sate on season 2 but very smartly left out "epitath one" so that he could watch it when it got canned and not get spoiled, wish I had done the same. Good move on Joss' part with having Epitah' as a back up *Rap up the Alpah story line *Get Boyd doing somthing nice for Claire *Topher on a dark path leading into how he is in the future *Echo finidng out more about herelef and possibly even escaping with Paul in the finale *Bring back Mr Dominic for the last few eps, brilliant character! *Victor and Sierra getting together...though it is Joss so one of them may die. *Return of Saunders and possible glitches, into how she has to stay in the DH in the future Am I missing anything? So to sum up. Boooo! Dollhouse we hardly knew yee' ...and as per usual FU*K FOX! (That one was for Terminator and Dollhouse!)   |

I officially fracking hate Fox. They cancelled Firefly, Terminator, Tru Calling, and now Dollhouse. Saying that I'm not surprised that they canned Dollhouse, I mean if they didn't let an amazing show like Firefly go for long, I didn't see Dollhouse getting much of a chance with them either. If Joss ever does another show I would hope he wouldn't use Fox again, they bit him on the ass too many times.
I just want to punch something, arg.... I don't know if I'll write them an email yet, every other word would probably be a profanity.

I guess this sucks, but I'm not too surprised.
I'd be way more upset if I actually watched it...haha. I was SO excited for the premiere, and then I watched not even all of the pilot, then stopped. I'm planning on watching it, I just don't know when.

I wonder if Dollhouse would have made it if FOX had let Joss air his original Pilot, and let him do what he wanted from the start... People stopped watching because of the first five episodes mainly, and I think we could have avoided them all if Joss was able to do his own thing.
People say the show was slow, and it was in some episodes, I agree, but there much more good than bad in this show. It pisses me off reading about how people hate this show(And they are Whedon fans <.<). This show must be too brilliant for those people.

I get so angry watching that episode, because everything about it is 95% better than all the others. What was FOX thinking? Joss already made a horror film - Cabin in the Woods. It did so well with test audiences that the release is delayed for a year to make it 3-D. So, hype - not really helpful at the moment.  |

I have to admit when FOX was first advertising Dollhouse it suck. If I remember correctly Fringe was all over the place. All you ever heard was a new show by J.J Abrams and how it will have limited commercial interruptions. It was all over TV Guide and everything. It was like oh yeah by the way Dollhouse is doing it too with Joss Whedon. Dollhouse honestly never really got publicize or commercials. And it's sad to say, but I don't think Joss ever really got the respect he deserved from FOX.

I think there's a huge difference between being a Buffy fan and a Whedon fan. I don't necessarily looove everything Joss does.
I'm a huge fan of Buffy, probably my favorite show ever, but his Dollhouse never was able to compete with shows as awesome as Glee for example.
Good thing he's going to direct one episode of that show by the way! Can't wait to see what he's going to do with it.

I am the biggest Buffy fan. I have DVDs, comics, and almost everything, but honestly I never really got into Dollhouse. I watched some of the first season and a little of the second. Mostly in part to I forgot what day it came on, I forgot when it was coming on, or I just watched something else instead. Like I said before though I blame FOX for hardly ever promoting it. I watch FOX alot being a SYTYCD and Glee fan and not once do I ever see a Dollhouse commercial. Though I wasn't into it as much I still wanted it to succeed because that meant Joss would. |
