I'd enjoy any of these scenarios, but I think Seth Green would fit in most. Agreed. I would love to see Seth on the show. Amber Benson as well. The two of them had such great chemistry with Aly. It would be awesome to see them working alongside one another for an episode. ^^ Forgot Morena Baccarin & Harry Groener I didn't even notice Hary Groener was in it! He was Ted's mums boyfriend wasn't he? And I knew I recognised crazy eyes from somewhere! lol Yep. And if I am remembering correctly, didn't Harry Groener's character go on to become Ted's step dad?

Just had a thought. Xander telling Dawn that they could get an apartment together, etc., is very reminiscent of him proposing to Anya in The Gift. I think this is the kind of thing Xander does when he is scared, trying to make one big, grand gesture to comfort himself and the woman(en) he cares for. Not saying that he isn't being genuine, just that when faced with an apocalyptic battle which could mean the end of the world, his decisions are motivated by fear. We've seen it with Anya, and I believe we're seeing it again with Dawn. Let's just hope that if Dawn and Xander manage to survive, they will be in line for a much happier ending than Xander and Anya ultimately got.

Wow, super awesome preview! I really can't wait for this issue now. Those pages definitely have me intrigued. And the art is just fantastic! Also: Love the moment between Spike and Buffy, really made me smile. :-*And I too am growing more and more worried for Dawn. I really hope she doesn't get killed. All this happy talk between she and Xander about future plans makes me suspicious. Because we all know by now, in the world according to Joss these things never end happily.

^^ Two back doors I have never noticed that either. It's amazing the things we still don't realize, even after years of watching this show.

Yeah, I always thought it was the den, too. What really gets me is, the Summers' house only has one bathroom and it's upstairs. I actually just realized this not too long ago. I had always assumed there was a bathroom downstairs as well but apparently not. A house that big and only one bathroom? That's crazy! How did they manage with so many people living in the house at various times? Plus, if you really gotta go having to walk all the way upstairs would certainly be inconvenient. I dunno, it just seems odd to me that a good size house like that would only have one bathroom. Just doesn't seem very practical to me. Sorry to go a little off-topic there, I occasionally like to ramble about random and unimportant things.

In First Date Robin Wood doesn't realize Spike is a vampire until he changes into vamp-face. However shouldn't he have known in the car when Spike's reflection didn't show up in the rearview mirror? Haha. That is a really good point! I can't believe I didn't think of that before! Also, I can't believe the writers' let that one slip by!

How do you think Buffy's personality was altered between season four and five with the change from being an only child to have always had a sister?
I wouldn't necessarily say Buffy's personality was different or altered, but I definitely think she had to adjust to having a little sister around. Before Buffy was an only child. After Dawn came into the picture, you get the sense that Buffy was, maybe not exactly jealous of Dawn, but I think she was definitely jealous that Dawn got to be "just a kid," while she was out saving the world every night.
If Buffy hadn't died, would she still have gone on to rely on the violent sexual relationship with Spike?
No. If Buffy hadn't died I don't think she would have carried on a sexual relationship with Spike. I think he would have continued to be her ally, and eventually her friend and confidant. It's possible that their relationship would have eventually progressed to a sexual level, but it wouldn't have been anything like what we saw in S6.
Do you think that with her previous watcher she had had a similar father-daughter bond as she has with Giles? And would this then be what influenced her to reject Giles in the first episode, in trying to avoid remaking that bond and having to lose another father figure?
I agree with everyone else in that Buffy's reaction to Giles was simply her desire to reject her destiny as a slayer and start over with a "normal" life.
At what point in her 'relationship' with Spike did she start completely emotionally relying on him? And why?
Definitely in S7 I think. Especially at the point where everyone else started turning their backs on her. You could see that she really relied on him for support because he was the only one truly there for her at that time.

I actually like the "young Buffy" that they used later in the series, much better than the "Buffy" they used in Killed by Death. The younger Buffy was so much cuter, imo. I love her.

It's true that there is a lot of metaphor in the demons and supernatural element of the show, but this is something I actually really like about it. I think it makes the show unique and special, in that way. I see the use of metaphor and subtext not as a detriment, but as a real strength of the show. I like Buffy's ability to "think outside the box," so to speak. And I really like the places the show was able to get to using all these demons and monsters as metaphors for real life situations that we face every day. The amazing thing is that even with all of that the show is still so relatable and I think that's really special. Because, although the monsters and other supernatural stuff is cool, in the end it is really about these characters that you know and love just trying to get through life and do the best they can with each day.
