I don't think it will be anybody from Fray. And if it is, then I'll be very disappointed. I want it to be shocking, leaving us with a sting. Not a "...who?". Agreed. Harth would be so lame.

Another thing that supports the idea that Riley is Twilight is the military's involvement in "The Long Way Home." Plus the last time we saw Ethan was when the Initiative/Government group took him away after turning Giles into a Fyarl. Ethan dies in Long way Home. not that that stops villians from returning... I know that. I didn't say he was still alive or anything, I meant last time we saw him in the series, not the comics. It showed that he had some connection with RIley and explains why he would be in a government facility in the first place.

As of right now, Twlight is obviously someone who knows Buffy, and I don't get how Harth would know Buffy. And I'd doubt that Joss would exaggerate Harth's size THAT much. Also, Harth is a vamp, it was dawn when he was fighting Buffy.

Also, Harth is a vamp, it was dawn when he was fighting Buffy. I was pretty sure that Harth had the same past slayer memories as Mel due to the fact they were twins. That could be the way he remembers Buffy. But when it comes to his size, that could create a problem in the Harth/Twilight theory. At first I was like, "Harth was a teen in Fray. Maybe this is him grown up." Then I remembered, oh yeah, vampires don't grow up! But I still think it would be tough to build Twilight up just to be a lesser known characters.

Also, Harth is a vamp, it was dawn when he was fighting Buffy. Harth has had dreams about the slayers since his early childhood. I'm sure he's *seen* and *watched* Buffy for years. Also, Joss doesn't make the size, lol! Georges did. Hmmm.... good point about the dawn thing. Maybe that's why he wears a mask and gloves??

If I remember correctly, because they were twins, Mel got the strength of the slayer and Harth got the memories and dreams of the slayer. I actually think this is hilarious because their relation has nothing to do with exact genetics (which is implied by the term twins). Because they're brother and sister, although twins, they are dizygotic, and share the same amount of genes as siblings who did not gestate together. It would be like saying because Dawnie and Buffy are siblings they would share the slayer inheritance just like Harth and Mel. Funny, but has absolutely no relevance to a comic book story.

It won't be a "...who??" after you read Fray. More than half of the Season 8 readers won't have read it. So it wouldn't make sense to have it be someone from a series that most Buffy fans haven't read. Ok, I got curious. I made a poll to see if season 8 readers will have read Fray at least by issue 16. I've got a theory that most will have read it by the reveal, whenever that may be.

True. If I weren't a regular on this site, I would know absolutely nothing about Fray. However, I can tell you, that after Issue 16 is released, I would have picked Fray up because (judging by the previews) it is very provocative of Fray's story.

I have a thought. In Anywhere but here, robin(?) says that they have to save the prince. Could that be Twilight, or could it be Dracula? My money's on Dracula, but who knows... When I read Anywhere but here, my first reaction is that it was Dracula. But if Buffy is the Queen... as in "All hail the Queen" I wonder who the Prince could be? Still Dracula? If Dawn is pregnant then is her offspring the Prince? I wanna know!!! Confusion... ..shame.

That would finally give Dawn a real storyline except for being a giant.

although the idea of Dawn actually being preggers intrigues me, I don't know that its the type of plot I want in Buffy's life. I wasn't too keen on all the pregnancy storylines on Angel, so... maybe that's just me..

Someone said it earlier and I had a hunch considering his announced return, that Twilight might be Oz. He has the motive in that Willow turned out to be a lesbian, which brought on his transformation last time he came to Sunnydale, where he was captured by the Initiative, which included Riley- Buffy's boyfriend. Also considering he can wolf out day or night now, the name 'Twilight' makes sense, since werewolves are supposed to only change on the full moon. Now I'm gonna be surprised if it isn't lol. Though the Spike thing mentioned earlier is an intruiging idea, unless the clue was to throw us off a little.

Nah, it cant be Oz. He too nice. That would be a to big of a transformation in his character. And im sure the fans wouldnt like it. Whoever Twilight is, Renee is working for him. Think about it. Xander always goes for the bad girls. Renee probably knew the zombies were coming and didnt warn anyone until it was too late. But at lesat I dont feel like im the only one with jungle fever. And its a shame because Oz probably wont be in Wolves At The Gate since Dracula came into the picture. And I never knew Dracula could also turn into bees and a panther.

The average reader would have NO idea who Twilight was if it was someone from Fray. And who is the average reader? Do you really know that people won't pick fray up after issue 16? or that they won't get something out of that issue regarding harth to make it all come together for them during the great reveal? Do you see what I'm saying?

Harth is very unlikely since he has no connection to Buffy whatsoever, there would be no great betrayal if it was.
