I've never even considered it, but I suppose it is possible. There are plenty of people that would like to be a doctor and not have to work for it.

Pretty solid episode, but it made me question the imprinting process. I'm actually kind of confused about it all. I understood up to this point that the dolls were imprinted with the 'personality' of someone, but I didn't really take it to mean that it WAS that person. I guess part of me assumed it was Echo-in addition to the traits of the imprinted personality. But this was actually not only Margarets personality, but her whole being-her soul I guess you might say. I don't even know how to say what I'm trying to get across, it just confused me- the idea of margaret actually being in echos body (where is echo or caroline while margaret is occupying the body? does she even exist at all at this point?). I understand erasing memories, but how could you extract someones being/soul into a piece of technology? does anyone at all understand what i'm saying?

ok. i will officially freak the F out if it is not renewed. How STUPID do the execs have to be to not realize that a good show, a show worth watching in the end, takes TIME to grow. All they care about is ratings and like someone else said-instant gratification. Buffy wasn't the big cult success it is now when it first started out! I mean, it was bad enough with firefly but are they really being so shortsighted once again!? God, I thought joss would've learned by now. He definitely should be on HBO or something.

Real name? Joseph
How old are you right now? 22. I will be 23 in October.
What do you study/do for a living? I'm studying Fashion Illustration.
Place you are from? Upstate New York
Place where you live now? New York City
How old were you when you watched your first Buffy episode? I was 13 years old! can't believe it was so long ago!
Did you like the show right away or did it take time for you to get into it? I liked the first episode I saw and each episode after that got me more and more invested.
Do you remember the very first episode you watched? "The Freshman"- Season Fours Premiere Episode.
When did you first realize you were getting addicted to the show? I know it's not like the biggest thing to happen on the show, but I had just started out with Season 4 & didn't expect Maggie Walsh to die but I freaked out when Adam stabbed her! I remember telling my sister like it was a huge thing! I think that event made me realize anything could really happen in the buffyverse.
Were there any other specific times when you felt like your interest for the show kept increasing, even to a point where you could no longer control it? Honestly, starting from the very first episode my interest steadily increased all the way up to the series finale. I never missed an episode after that. I didn't get UPN so with season 6 & 7 I had to have my friend tape it for me, but seasons 4 & 5, i was glued to the TV every tuesday @ 8. I was the same with Angel. I think Buffy dying in 'the gift' was also a big moment for me. I still think that whole storyline with her being resurrected as they switched to another station was brilliant.
Do you feel like the show ever jumped the shark at some point over its seven years of running? Never.
Which character gave you more laughs overall? Anya all the way!!! Cordelia is runner up.
Was there a character you really couldn’t stand? While I didn't really hate them that much, out of all the characters, I'd have to choose the trio. Warren, Jonathan & Andrew were mad cheesy.
What is your favorite female character? I honestly can't even begin to choose. Obviously, I love Buffy. Faith is a fascinating character study & she's badass. Willow I love for her spirit, she's always so sweet-okay not when she's juiced up on the dark arts & on a killing rampage but 99% of the time she's a sweetie. Joyce & Anya are also favorites-okay i've named basically every female main character. sorry
What is your favorite male character? Spike omg Spike. I can't even begin to describe my love for spike. He has an awesome back story(he was a sensitive poet before he was william the bloody!) . His character arc is amazing. He's interesting & funny & totally captivating in every scene he's in. I love him being part of the gang and protecting buffy & dawn. And on top of all of it, I'm sorry but he is DAMN sexy!!!
What relationship did you “worship” the most? Probably Buffy & Spike. I wasn't around for the Buffy/Angel stuff. Right when I started watching, Spike had gotten the chip in his head so he wasn't really as bad as he was in the earlier seasons. That was where buffy & spikes relationship began for me so you can imagine, I loved the journey they went through together seasons 4-7!
Buffy’s soul mate? Angel.
Willow’s soul mate? Tara.
Xander’s soul mate? Anya.
Which death touched you the most? I know it was technically on Angel but Cordelias death in "Your Welcome" made me cry. I felt like I knew her & it was a real friend who died. Okay I didn't ball my eyes out but I felt genuine emotion.
What is your favorite season and why? Season 3! It embodies the show's golden years (Season 2 was amazing, but not as consistent episode to episode as season 3) and it's right before I started watching so it kind of fascinates me that much more (if that makes sense to anyone). Plus, we get Faith & Anya introductions & one of my favorite stories (alternate universe sunnydale in 'the wish' & 'doppelgangland'). Season 5 is my second pick for it's brilliant storyline & introduction of dawn. It is so epic and beautiful and well constructed. Season 4 holds a special place in my heart though b/c it was my first season and it brings me back to that time whenever I watch it.
What season did you enjoy the least? I have to say season 7. I think I liked it fine when I watched it as it aired, but going back & viewing it, it wasn't my favorite. But I don't think it's all bad.
If you had to rank the seasons? 3-5-6-2-4-7-1
What is your favorite big bad? Definitely Glory. She had awesome lines.
What is your favorite episode finale (or final arc of a season)? I love the action element of the finales (especially seasons 3 & 5) but "Restless" is my favorite finale. It was different than not just every other finale, but every other episode! It is beautiful & fascinating. If you love the original core four scooby gang, I don't understand how this episode couldn't be one of your favorites.
What is your favorite fight? I'd have to say the fight with Glory in "the gift". I loved all the little things that happened. Glory ripping the buffybots head off, Buffy beating Glory with the hammer, Xander using the wrecking ball, Willow getting tara back, Giles killing Ben, The dragon!, buffy jumping to her death!
Do you have one favorite episode? Who Are You?
Finally, what would like to add? What’s so special about BTVS? I just love the characters & the stories.
Do you enjoy the Season 8 comics? Yes, I've been getting them a.s.a.p. since issue one (already 2 years ago!). I'll take all the Canon buffy stories I can get!

I am so happy we got to see Willow & Fred interact! It's great b/c Fred was kind of like the Willow-esque character on 'Angel' & they were both so brainy and awkward. If they worked side by side regularly, they could probably save the world every time like it was nothing! I wish we got to see more of them together =( Oh & Wesley's reaction to the Willow/Fred flirtation was priceless!!!! Yes, there was chemistry between them! I like the idea of Willow & Fred better than Willow & Kennedy to be honest.

Olivia Williams (Adelle) SO could've played a watcher on Buffy, so yeah I guess I can see a comparison to Gwendolyn Post. The Boyd/Echo relationship is very Giles/Buffy-that's a given. I feel like Victor= Xander, Sierra= Willow. Is anyone else turned off by the Victor/Sierra ''relationship". Victor is cute, but I don't get any chemistry between them.

I like Miracle! She can totally only play one part though, but I think she plays it well so I don't mind. I can't imagine her playing any of the "badass" parts Eliza or Dichen play though. are you kidding? did you see her kick the guys neck into the corner of the coffee table? she can play badass!

I liked this episode a lot more than last weeks. Sierras mission was awesome. Eliza in the dominatrix outfit was outrageous! I'm very surprised by Adelle's dalliance with Victor-or "roger" was it? I don't want echo to have a new handler :/ I'm glad Dominic was the spy. I didn't like him anyway. I keep getting more and more interested. I feel like the idea of imprinting dolls with dead peoples personalities is leading into the darker purposes of the dollhouse.

I'm sorry but a movie taking place between season 7 & season 8 would seem so pointless. When we know where the characters end up in season 8, the story in between is rather irrelevant-for a big screen movie at least! If we already know how the movie is going to end, there's really no suspense and the suspense of not knowing what's going to happen in the buffyverse is something a buffy movie would need w/o a doubt.

Movie MOvie MOVIE!!! I LOVE season 8 but if it really came down to it, I could deal with it being de-cannonized (whatever you want to call it.) And I have been reading it since issue 1! I'd personally like the movie to take place after season 8. I think that makes the most sense and would reward the more loyal fans and maybe bring more people to read season 8 in order to catch up with the story. Someone mentioned season 8 or a post season 8 story not translating well to screen?...um...why's that?? It still has the same characters & all the same elements of the show (and some that we probably never could've seen on the show). More than anything, I'd want the movie to be action packed. Of course I want the drama between the characters I love, but I can see it being marketed as an action flick. (just the thought of the buffy movie posters with the characters looking bad ass makes me giddy!) Joss knows how to write movies and more importantly-embody a television series in a movie! HELLO "FIREFLY" translated into a fabulously balanced movie "SERENITY"! A buffy movie today would be everything the original should've been but amped up!!! PLEASE! I will just be able to die happy! lol

Am I the only person who feels like Paul knew Caroline before she went into the Dollhouse? I got that sense when he was talking to that client in the empty house and said something to the effect "she was a college girl until she ended up playing love slave for the rich". It seems really personal.

I love the name of this episode. It's referring to "Sleeping Beauty" right? I'm assuming it's relevant in some way because sleeping beautys name was briar rose when she lived in the forest, but then was called aurora when she moved into the castle. Caroline becoming Echo?? Can't wait to see!

but the dialogue in each little 'interview' was so sharp & seemed very meaningful. I feel like they covered a lot of different viewpoints, opinions etc. about the dollhouse & made the plot of the dollhouse more accessible and understandable to a casual viewer or even someone who doesn't really understand the shows concept. This really felt like the pilot episode v.2 and the 'bookends' are what made it feel like that.

wenxina- you're crazy if you don't think the street interviews did anything but serve as bookends. The dialogue the people on the street had reflected the following scenes with the dollhouse characters. My favorite was the girl in the alley saying 'where's the dotted line?' and the girl on the grass saying 'that could be kind of beautiful'. All of the street scenes really were gold if you ask me. Favorite character: Paul & Mellie. I LOVE them together. Their chemistry is so good. I honestly had tears in my eyes when she was being attacked. Knowing Joss, I was prepared for her to die in episode 6 right after we had grown attached to her!!! thank god he didn't kill her. Least favorite character: Sierras handler. Total scumbag. Favorite scene: Honeslty, I loved all of them. If I HAD to pick one...it'd have to be the one where Mellie is attacked and then triggered by Adele over the answering machine. Least favorite scene: I really don't have one. Biggest surprise: Mellie being a doll. I don't care what anyone says, I did NOT see that coming. I just thought she was going to be Paul's cute & humble neighbor and possible love interest. Turns out she's sooo much more than that & it is kind of amazing. Thing you saw coming a mile away: umm...fight scene in the kitchen? lol Thoughts on Echo's personality: She was so hysterical with the rachel personality. Her scream when the guys started fighting was so funny. And of course the whole porn dialogue was funny. Her fight scene personality was just badass- i was imagining faith during the fight. Question you want answered most: Everything. Did you enjoy this episode more than the prior one?: yes. definitely the best episode. so far!

OK, i'm not even finished watching this episode & I am already blown away. It's episodes like this in the joss-verse (Restless, Once More With Feeling) that show how, to appreciate a great episode in joss's writing, it is wise to watch all the episodes leading up to it. A person cannot just casually watch an episode like restless or once more with feeling and truly see how magnificent it is if they don't know all the story behind it. I'm excited to have a show from joss whedons minds on the air again. I'm officially a fan of Dollhouse. I imagine it will only get better from here!
